Yeah, so most of the damage will be done by that one, while the other finishes the job. All they gotta do is open at the same time.
As I wrote in the quote, it’ll basically be the same effect as 1 rogue could do earlier on his own. Except now it’ll require both. The nerf doesn’t really “fix” anything about it.
No one played with this build except 2 guys in previous patch when it was 130%, now with 80% i swear the only ones (or the same persons) will continue to play with this build.

i mean, maybe, but meh. it’s really impractical to build now, and for what? why not just play double rogue with regular 1 dance at that point? or i don’t know, double mage, double boomkin, double ret? or any number of comps with a yolo strat?
what’s made this so difficult to play around is that you die 100-0 instantly. not quickly, instantly. i think it’s dead.
Actually i do prefer to watch 70% damapening games where people actually have to use a reasonable amount of skill. rather than just run in pop all burst cds and GG.
But it’s boring when health bars doesn’t move up to that point.
What has always been best for PvP in this game is high sustained damage, but low burst. Across the board, from everyone.
That way, if it reaches “70%”, it means people have countered CC and all that properly very consistently up to that point to avoid the severe punishment for it, but when the health bars doesn’t move until that point then it wouldn’t even matter if someone lands a properly timed CC and so on.
Heavy burst is boring af. Low damage is boring af. It just needs to be high in the sustained instead of the burst.
Wowhead might say whatever, but in game Sap is 10 yards, and it has never been 15 yards.

By the way that nerf is really poor as it nerfs the damage by only 25%. People seem all excited because woah the talent got halved and stuff but in the end with all the modifiers a Rogue used to deal X times 2 damage, now it will be X times 1.5, which is X times 2 times 0.75.
So, that build will remain an annoyance and an issue.
It should have been REMOVED, not nerfed.
Imagine acknowledging that something deals 100% of people health from stealth, marking it as an issue, and coming up with the solution : “let’s make it only 75%”.

if the game is really like that why arent there absolute nobodys farming people in the AWC? Why are there the same people as every season if it has nothing to do with skill?
The game hasnt changed. Burst dmg is high this season but the game is the same. It requires the same amout of skill as before i would argue even more than in dampy metas because you cant punish bad players when the meta is extremly dampy. You can now.
You can punish anyone in this meta burst damage is high to the point preemptively exchanging cds most of the time is the only play since you can die to a solo dps in 1 to 2 globals from 75 percent hp
yes? and what do you want me to say with this? Trading cds is one of the most important skills in arena(got actually really relevant in MoP). If you trade better than your opponents your chance to win is higher. Dampy meta also means cooldown trading only that you cant punish people who trade bad and you have long games even against way worse players.
I prefer more sustain dmg and less burst too but you can still play warrior, sp , assa etc. if you prefer this kind of playstyle.
I think it will fix the problem. To even get close to 100% of someones health(only priests) you need to sacrifice so much. Smoke bomb(or shadowy duel), necro or venthyr covenant, 2 dance charges, ma legendary, vanish and subterfuge. If you cant actually oneshot anymore its not going to be worth sacrificing all these things. Yeah you can probably still oneshot someone with a partner still if you have good timings and the opponent is slow to react, but that would still be the case even if the talent got removed.
