Dark Rangers in Stormwind City - RP

Full disclosure I would love to be able to RP my Kaldorei Dark Ranger in Stormwind rather than bumming about in the middle of nowhere for RP scraps.
But I don’t think it’s a good idea IC because it’s more likely that she’d be attacked at the gates rather than being allowed to pass on through just because “Tyrande said she would be okay with it.”

Join the Ebon Blade.
Give them some variety.

If only people stuck to that instead of actually RPing High Elves in the Horde and not expecting to be bodied by the Blood Elves for it…

Especially if said High Elf is part of the Silver Covenant.

The customisations are definitely a boon for expanding Ebon Blade numbers. Don’t just need runeblades, now we can also have runebows (and runeguns, pewpewpew).

Frost Mages, shadow mages, dark healers.
It’ll make them more versatile.

Considered it a few times, haven’t committed to it since it starts to border on “I have legal documents” territory, but it seems like a fun idea, it’s a maybe.

I mean, the Ebon Blade HAS necromancers in it I believe, so there is a possibility they’d allow Dark Rangers who aren’t siding with either faction to join…

The only question is WOULD they, because I’ve seen the EB used as an excuse for San’layn before, though we’ve seen 0 San’layn in the EB.

And that would also raise the question as to why would the EB even allow a San’layn or Dark Ranger in their ranks to be freely socialising and hanging out in Stormwind/Orgrimmar without a few Death Knights to keep an eye on them, or when not on important business.

The Ebon Blade accepts liches, they have no reason to turn away a sincere san’layn.

That might be because no San’layn wants to join? Though tbh Darkfallen in the EB is both plausable and interesting. I can easily see the EB being one of the sanctuaries Kaldorei Dark Rangers turn to. The EB are also very “ends justify the means” when it comes to recruitment and their general outlook on things (Those poor Red whelps…)

There’s also Lady Alistra who’s seemingly just a normal blood elf death knight but with red eyes.

I knew liches would be brought up, and you’re right, they do accept liches (I.E the frost DK trainer)

Though I feel like, as Khelnamun just said

And every San’layn we’ve seen so far have been exclusively scourge (Only notable ‘exception’ being the ones from the BfA War Campaign, but we all know how that ended, them being killed after betraying the Horde and taking over the ship they were on.)

They should’ve just let me have the book instead of getting in my way.

And by “getting in my way” I mean “were in the general vicinity”.

People bringing up Liches is a weird argument when you consider that the Ebon Blade already has Banshees in it’s ranks and that’s a far easier argument to make.

Ah yes, another great instance of the Jailer’s forces having a civil war amongst themselves, all according to plan.

Remind me of those banshees, because my memory is notoriously bad when it comes to many things.

Everyone knows that killing your own forces is okay, actually.

Baine did it after all, and he’s a hero of the Horde.

Siouxsie the Banshee is the most notable one but that’s debatable because the name is a reference to a band.
Besides her however, you have Lady Nightswood in the Shadow Vault in Icecrown, and a few nameless ones that they use like Ghouls or Gargoyles.

I am just going to ignore it until one speaks to me IC. Maybe then Cailen will assume it’s just a weirdo in make-up or a Hallow’s End costume.

Is just a night elven death knight with a fancy moniker.
