Plead to Alliance regarding Darkshore donations

Please do not contribute to the Darkshore warfront yet. If we get the warfront opened before next wednesday and the release of the new raid, we’re getting the old 385 ilvl rewards. On the other hand if we start with the donations on monday-tuesday, we’re getting the warfront AFTER the raid opens and we’ll get the higher ilvl reward. It’s a good chance for the alliance to finally have advantage over the horde - a chance for slighly better ally representation in the BDA rankings.

This is funny cause NA alliance is obviously better at holding their stuff then EU since they won’t get their warfront until after Wednesday. Can’t blame Horde bias when it’s just EU alliance being bad at this compared to their NA counterpart

People clearly just want the AP more. Or some other reason but there is a steady flow of people doing the hand ins.

Just gonna put this here in case people are interested / just havent read the news : EU is currently at 80% contribution, up from 51 yesterday (so 29 % in 24 hours, which would roughly mean it gets done sometime tomorrow). However it was pointed out last Qa that should Warfront start before raid opens, its reward wont scale up for its entire duration, until next warfront lockout, which means, if people contribute tomorrow, next two weeks will offer Darkshore quest/wb with 385 ilvl reward, if people dont contribute tomorrow, and wait for wednesday to do that (losing 1.5k azerite, granted), EU gets 400 ilvl quest/ worldboss the moment warfront is up and running. seems like a win to me

Both.
It will scale with the first cycle that begins after the lockout. This to prevent people from getting screwed by the lockout. Imagine darkshore go ally this morning: you do it today->385, do it tomorrow->400

So they postponed the scaling on the next cycle.

If by some miracles it will cycle to ally EU after tomorrow morning, we’re getting 400.

it goes +/- 1 % per hour - so it will open around 2 am so just before reset

The PvE and heroic progression would be affected just as same as it was Uldir progression when battle for Stromgarde was available for the first time.

Only this time, Alliance would be the faction that would gain the benefit.

I think that this is more fair.

When this happened with Uldir the forums were on fire, why do you want to make the same mistake again? Looking by the contribution progress the WF will be up before the reset, so no 400 ilvl rewards from it till 2+ weeks after Heroic progression and 1+ week after Mythic race, when that 1 400 ilvl item wont be a factor for the majority of player base that tries to compete at some level. This is the best turn of events that could have happened.

Well, it’s 2pm now and the contribution is at 92%. Looks like we won’t be getting ilvl400 gear this time around.

Yeah I got you. It certainly is the best thing that could happen when Horde is again first with the high item level reward from warfront. It might not influence progression that much, but still the reward will be there for the horde, before mythic race is over.

I bet, that you won’t be so “fair” and happy about this when the tables were turned. When your faction would have to wait the longest possible time for the 400ilv reward. And on the other hand it would certainly be OK and irrelevant for progression when Horde would get that item tomorrow after reset.

And yes two wrongs make one good. But each of them must be equally distributed between factions.

I don’t want to spread the theory about horde bias, but definitely something here stinks.

PS: Also for those, who may think that turn-ins make any difference: they don’t.

That is not certain. The quest might swap to horde, based on forum posters crying about broken warmode for horde.

Also there is nowhere to be found that the reward will be bumped up.

There is hardly any Alliance around once they complete the weekly quest. Much as I would love to get the 30% WM buff, I seriously doubt we will ever see it on the Horde.

Blizzard are failing to entice the Alliance to keep it on.

Because we’re still outnumbered, both in general and in warmode. Especially in warmode. Unless something drastic happens I can’t see that changing anytime soon.

I’m not disagreeing that Horde aren’t the majority in WM. I was replying to the suggestion that Horde might get the buff. We won’t.

Oh you mean how the Alliance gets 1 ilvl 400 item today and another one on next reset (so 2 x ilvl 400 items before Mythic race) from the WM Weekly quest? Is that what you mean? I know, I know… “HORDE BIAS”!!!

Like 1 week after Mythic opens, so the Horde will be getting their 1st ilvl 400 free item AFTER 2 rounds of HC clears and well into Mythic race, and also just about the same time the Alliance will be getting their 3rd ilvl 400 free item from the WM Weekly. “HORDE BIAS”!!!

Also, in the US the alliance will be getting the WF today, so they do get the WF reward 1st as well. I dunno if they have the WM weekly there but I’d guess they do, so that would be 3 free ilvl400 items for the Alliance on US realms BEFORE Mythic opens. You ppl are just embarrassing yourselves with this horde bias BS…
