I am well aware that this is the one thousandth time this has been posted to the forums, but honestly isn’t this just an indicator that there is a huge demand for TBC and Wotlk servers?
Some people prefer vanilla, others prefer TBC and others Wotlk. Why is this such a huge deal? I refuse to believe putting up a few TBC and Wotlk servers would be a big deal, it’s literally just turning on a switch and putting them back up, the hardware is there, the software is there. Everything has already been made to get a TBC/Wotlk server up and running again. I know it’s not that easy and it requires a few people to maintain them, but honestly, if you can keep up an era server, you can keep up tbc and wotlk servers too.
As you can see, SO many people keep flooding the forums about this request, this should tell you something about the amount willing to pay to play there. Some people need to go home again. Let the people decide what they want to play and go from there instead of force-feeding whatever you want us to play.

even if that’s true, you don’t think the other regions are complaning as well?
While I agree that we need TBC and WOTLK servers, now is not the time. We have 6 different versions of WoW right now. 7 or 8 will be way too many. At least we need to wait for SOD and MoP Remix to finish.

If they do now, we still can have untouched characters over. And if they not do not too many will quit, mayb to never return.
That’s a good point, however I dont think this really counts as “versions” the same way as SoD or Remix does.
Those modes are temporary, while what most want are permanent tbc/wrath servers existing in the final raid tier, same as the other era realms.
I personally think there is a big difference.

It’s retail with MoP additions.

it is so bad they do not see the opportunities, I will wait until the October announcement if not I will permanently move to private servers. Fed up with retail even though there are so many nice changes, it still is not appealing anymore. I had a blast with Classic and sod but I still miss WOTLK. We dont need 10 different expansion servers and split community into thousand pieces.
We need classic+ FRESH that will eventually progress into TBC+ (or whatever new expansion for classic) and so on.
We need classic wow that doesn’t suck like retail wow but brings something new and faith into blizzard being able to produce quality game restored.
Wishful thinking still better than another WOTLK.
SOD is nice thing to hold attention until then.
I know classic fresh + tbc after like back in 2019 is 2nd best deal here but lets hope we get a good classic+ maybe first after beta testing that is SOD?
