Turn off War Mode if you can, please. WPvP is fun and all, but I’d really love to get some of that incentive to actually turn it on, you know? I want my free ilvl 400 item quest. We just need to get the Regional Population using War Mode lower than Alliance!

What are you missing out on anyway? It’s only a 10% bonus! Not like 30% + a free gear piece. You’ll be fine without it!

And don’t worry about the “few” of us that are left; we’ll still outnumber the Alliance in every viable shard. It’s not like shards are the only population that actually matters and the Regional Population will never really come into effect.

But sssshhhh! Don’t let Blizzard find out about that! :wink: :wink: :wink:

You do realize it doesnt change anything even if u all turned wm off you little cowsoldier.
Bonus will always stay on allies no matter what so just keep it on and contribute to my raid gear quest when we kill you when you land from taxi thanks. Just let it happen and its all over

But, honestly, it’s not Alliance-only, its Regional War Mode Population based. So if the Horde shut off War Mode, there’ll be a lower RWMP for Horde, giving them this asinine 30% buff and easy ilvl 400 gear.

And that is how we will beat you entitled pointy-eared tree-lovers! Aha ha!

I have herocially killed so many hordies one by one with our combined 8x5man parties i cant remember all the faces sry :frowning: thanks for gear tho and upcoming thx for next weeks similiar reward

I struggled to find horde tonight stormsong invasion. It was fun killing the few rare horde I found though

You should have come and found me. Every time i tried to leave Warsong Hold by myself I was met by 30+ alliance after their free loot :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::joy:

These alli mini kill squads can help achieve less horde wm’ers. They lose nothing wm off, because they will quest faster and make up for losing 10% bonus.

I predict… well, maybe not predict… but it’s possible things could even out.

To be honest, I’d rather just have the incentive bonuses and rewards evened out between the two Factions, instead of the Alliance benefiting from numbers in shard, 30% and free gear.

I am sure you contributed 100% to every kill. Have yourself a cookie, spud! :slight_smile:

I log in every day after reset excited to 50v1 horde for 25 honorable kills and get my (now) 400+ ilvl item. I think I even got a best-in-slot 5 ring azerite for my bravery this week.

For the last month I have been getting back into WOW grinding world quests and Assaults for Pathfinder Part 1 and Gear. Not once have Horde ever outnumbered Alliance on any shard I have been on, I have been killed by multiple Alliance groups camping Tortollan/Champs of Azeroth WQ’s so much so I have often had resurrect timers, and have been confused that they still have a 30% buff compared to Horde 10%. To find out now Alliance have a weekly quest for a 400 ilvl piece of gear!? I cannot even do log in without Dying immediately on the Horde Capital’s Ship or do any WQ’s in Drustvar I die as I land at a flight point.

I am all for WPVP i.e. 1v1’s or small groups fighting, but I feel I have to agree with OP for the first time in BFA I will be turning War Mode off until something is done to fix this huge imbalance of rewards, I won’t just be a number counting to a flight point campers free 400 ilvl gear.

Nowhere is safe. We are out to farm you and we will murder any horde on sight without mercy. We usually play with our victims and even make the suffering last longer so other allies can show up to get the kill tag for quest.

I understand feelings of unfairness if rewards are important to you. They are less important to me, so it’s easy for me to say don’t matter. All I want is to wpvp, would do it for zero reward.

Hang in there, horde could get the extra incentives, it’s possible. If enough horde turn off wm, if enough horde go alli wm, if enough alli turn on wm… possible. Those that turn off, they will be happier in pve, where they prob belong.

Maybe blizz will just keep adding rewards to outnumbered, until they achieve their goal. Then it could swing back and forth, one side complaining one week, the other complaining the next.

I think blizz’s vision for wpvp is NOT perfect balance. Imbalance fosters conflict, that’s what they want, or should anyway. The new extra bonus + quest is just a corrector, to try and make not just one side always outnumbered. Not working yet? Throw in another extra gear or something. Could happen.

Hold on hordes! Today, for the first time, horde didn’t retaliate!

And I don’t mean in some random 15 - 30 min window. In a solid few hours of War Mode wars at Vol’dun Assault + Stormsong + Drustvar (CtA q). I even was for 30 mins without any engagements at all, like nothing everywhere.

If this is any indication of current WM population, and you’re going to keep it this way for the rest of the week - you’ll get your % and quest and shiny item. Not for long tho - you turn it ON quick, Alliance turn it off quicker, unfortunately I guess, idk, I kinda like these items… haha
