The Knights of the Veilbound moved into the Ghostlands to take care of a Blighted Ancient that had been left since the Night elves attempts to sabotage the Blood elves. To try and help combat the Scourge, cure the land or bolster their forces, remains unknown.
But the ancient was decayed and blighted by the earth, a husk of what it used to be and now wandered as a threat in the area. The knights moved quickly to claim the ancient before it could it could be destroyed by another.
After an ambush and a strong fight, the Veilbound took it down, claiming the resources from the giant and taking its corpse back to Acherus.
There, the Commander began her work, carving the ancient’s body down with a knife as she began her project.
