So a thing that has been bugging me since dragonflight and now tww as a dk main… death knights and available races. whats the point of having all these amazing races come in when some classes just arent even going to be available? also im wondering,will we ever again be able to become death knights on races other than the ones we have currently? like just because the lich king ‘‘died’’ it feels kind of weird to now just sit there and watch every new race be able to become all these different classes except a DK (and in some cases druid)… i just wanna swap my dk over to be dracthyr… youre telling me they found no way to feasibly put a story reason for more dks being made? or how they are made? like idk there is SO MUCH LORE on the scourge and on lich king etc etc,you could EASILY find a reason to put the newest races into roster of Death knights.
What reason would the Knights of the Ebon Blade have to condemn people to such an existence? It’s not like Death Knights (or Forsaken for that matter) are having a blast being undead and stuff… Maybe you’re too preoccupied with whether or not they could, you’re not stopping to think if they should.
But yes sure gameplay-wise they could in theory raise Dracthyr from the dead.

Because…its a game? and a fantasy one at that? it would be a damn boring game if the undead and dks that hate being undead,just yknow… stopped and went back into their graves or smth lmao. there is plenty of ways to justify people coming back as dks more. you can have voluntary agreements to be raised as a death knight into the service of the ebon blade if you were a highly achieved adventurer for example. or perhaps they raise more to bolster their ranks for the upcoming war against the void,etc. there is ALWAYS a way to write in well fitting ways for this stuff to happen. i mean they made alternate universe orcs work with maghar and that was some INSANE stuff. I know the undead arent having a blast being undead,and that they regularely talk about hating it,but its been quite talked and discussed ingame that both death knights and undead have come to terms with their existences and are doing what is necessary for Azeroth(or survival in undeads case) since legion dks were much more okay with raising new apprentices,and in shadowlands we see that with all the allied races getting dk. and undead have since formed the desolate council and theres quite large indications that they might be raising light undead with the entire character of Calia. Just feels like there is no reason they couldnt make a good storyline to have the death knights renew their ranks. cause currently since shadowlands(where they were HORRIBLY underutilised,when the entire expac was based around DEATH) they have kinda just been sitting in their own decaying(heh) bubble.

which i meant with dracthyr and earthen not being able to be dks,i know that allied races could become dks,but that was all the way in shadowlands,which was 5 YEARS AGO. and since then every new race that has come out has had no DK available.
I was honestly quite miffed Dracthyr can’t be DKs or Paladins. It is time for a new DK questline about getting the power to raise more DKs for the fight against the void. Maybe in Midnight or TLT.
THIS is what im saying too. it feels like they just kinda took dks for shadowlands,did NOTHING with them,then just tossed em aside(almost like demon hunters past legion except they got a good expac about them LMAO). i just want some more dk interactions and a renewal of the ranks

Ma’am, or mister, or smth else, whatever, just because the game tagged as fantasy in genre tab doesn’t mean it’ must abandon it’s internal logic and common sense, every genre has it’s rules, fantasy especially, this genre was created by the linguistic nerd that written all the small details for his respective setting including making up it’s own language for various nations.

Earthen already have two copies of their class, making them a little smaller doesn’t make any difference. Seems like a lot of unnecessary work.
How are you not satisfied with so many races being able to play Death Knights?

I do not know why time has anything to do with it🙄
But i do know that all races except the most recent additions can be a death knight so you have more then enough choice… yet you complain about the 1 or 2 that can not.
Literally race and class have lost their meaning a long time ago, everyone just wants their class to be playable using their favorite race (and racial probably).
I mean they still are effective at what they are doing, they still have mobile fortress, and azeroth is still in danger
