It sort of highlights my earlier criticism of romance subplots in WoW. The full picture is rarely ever shown on screen, but instead found in short stories, novels or wowpedia pages. As much as I enjoy reading those, it’s sort of a pet peeve.
It’s like theres a trigger word as soon as you say "Blizzard " they POP up!

Actually this whole shenanigans started because of someone who does care rather a lot about winning awards, and not in a good way… google Comicsgate, because it’s some of the exact same group of individuals, who are behind this entire political Crusade against Blizzard.
Some of the OP threads and comments on this forum could have been lifted virtually verbatim, direct from a website set up to service conservative activists, to crusade against Blizzard (currently the focus)…Disney…Marvel…DC… and inclusiveness in Popular media… apparently SJWs are secretly indoctrinated from Kindergarten age, it’s a secret global conspiracy (obviously, when isn’t it)… etc… etc…etc. the usual conservative shenanigans.

I am sorry, but you have just owned yourself and your point that this was “planned all along”. It wasn’t planned all along and the proof of it is that characters look and act straight and the author only commented on them being “actually bi” very very late. Right when the story was being written.
