Since we are getting new servers with some quality of life changes already added, such as the chronoboon or the ranking system update, why don’t we get another nice QoL feature that is still missing from era? An increase to the debuff cap.
It’s not going to make oomkins, rets and shadow priests top the damage meters but at least they would be allowed to cast their dps abilities without the fear of knocking off more “important stuff”.
The current 16 cap doesn’t really make the raids more challenging, except perhaps naxx, but even then it’s more of an annoyance than anything

I believe the post about anniversary classic also stated that no debuff limit is a thing for a new hc servers as well. No info on regular servers though

I mean, the chronoboon has probably a much higher impact than the debuff cap, but I don’t see people asking for that to be removed.
To me it looks like a minor change compared to the other things we’re getting

I’d like all changes to be reverted and more original behaviour be reimplemented, like genuine patch progression, original battlegrounds and so on.

The debuff cap was not intended by Blizzard, it was a technical limitation. Also it was 8 and not 16. There was also a buff cap and resto druids could delete wbuffs if they used their dot healings.
