Is there anything special on the deepest Ocean? And is anyone able to dive all the way deep?
Unfortunately, fatigue is vertical as well as horizontal. If you try to swim too deep, even with water breathing (trust me, as a warlock, I’ve tried), you’ll eventually die from fatigue before you begin to see the bottom. This is because there is very little to find far below the ocean besides miles and miles of empty textures.
However, there are still plenty of interesting things to find in the explorable ocean! Many zones, especially Darkshore, Azshara, or other night elf-centric places, will have sunken shipwrecks, drowned Highborne structures, dragon skeletons; hell, back before release, Azshara even had an underwater Dark Portal. So, even if the fatigue-gated ocean isn’t worth diving all the way for, the shallower oceans still have a lot to offer.

But isn’t someone who managed to dive so deep, even with a hack? Isn;t there any easter egg?
