But look at monks, even rogue and dh are all very squishy. Everyone is tbh. And yes agreed, I never like facing a holy priest
DH isn’t that squishy. At least not vs casters and if Monk knows how to kite he is also almost unkillable.
what many people don’t understand is that our whole toolkit is build around letting someone hit our face.
You have parry, period. Nerfing ignore pain would’ve been 10x better without making the class as squishy as it is now
now the warrior is simply a favorite target. With my war I always focus and if I play against a war I focus it too. Stance deff has simply become a debuff. I also think she was too strong before but it hasn’t been nerfed proportionately. This patch is a beta anyway so maybe they will still change things.
god i cant tell how much i hate this argument.
Did you ever bother thinking about how much different stuff BESIDES this crazy mobility those 2 classes have compared to a warrior ? WW ain’t tanky but they got 20 more options to AVOID the damage than a warrior my guy. And let’s not talk about DH lol, please.
That being said i didn’t play much 3s yet but in 2s warrior feels abit awful so take it with a grain of salt
The fact there are many of them doesn’t mean they are that good. First one is 59 in the ladder while many other specs have higher representation. Keeping in mind that Warrior’s utility is insanely strong and created for 2s it shows they are underwhelming.
2s were always dominated by meele specs with healing reduction because 2s start with 20% dampening.
In 3s there are also many Warriors but they are even lower.
warrior was middle of the pack in 2s last season too.
just look at the top 100 in 3s they are more than enough warriors.
using a representation metric on participation shortly after a season where warrior dominated is not really saying anything but will see how it goes with fullgear.
I love your mogg qid
thank you sir
I enjoy D-stance not being mandatory as talent pick.
In terms of def stance the nerf was fine, but would have wished more nerfs for warrior. Also missing nerfs for mage, hunter and dh.
Only if the warrior doesnt know how to use charge, intervene and heroic leap.
But the more important point, while dh/ww have to use their mobility to keep alive but also as gap closers, you just want to use all your mobility offensively and just press def stance as defense and still deal 80% of your damage, while dh/ww have to run and drop damage completely?
Does that sound fair to you? Or somewhat skill?
i mean if you struggle as feral / ww / dh with leap or intervene i feel sorry
How could they struggle, they don’t have intervene or leap.
All I am saying is, that you want the most easiest way. Warrior is broken af since SL, its time to make it a bit more skill again. Sitting def stance and still pumping 80% of the damage isn’t comparable to use mobility to avoid damage and do zero damage in the meanwhile.
And while def stance was mostly enough, you were still able to get away with charge, intervene and leap as well if needed.
Warrior representation said everything. Feral, WW and DH combined didn’t have the representation of Arms last season.
nobody talks about arms last season, wth.
We’re talking about post def stance nerf
The nerf was a result of arms state last season.
And he’s saying the nerf was warranted.
When a Warrior can sit in defensive stance the entire game, and still outdamage you, then you know that garbage is broken.
I would personally have liked to see other changes in mechanics instead:
- Switching between battle stance / defensive stance could be a 1,5s non-interruptible cast instead to force some planning.
- Spell Reflection added to the GCD to prevent last millisecond reflect of peels while still mongoing their target.
- Overall damage flat out nerfed and shifted into auto-attack and Slam damage.
- Reduced health of Warbanner.
- Nerf in effect and duration to the Necro banner (in particular for other party members).
- Add a (longer?) delay to the Kyrian ring similar to how it was done for DH mana burn.
and nobody is saying warrior didn’t need a nerf, you guys gotta read, for real.
The way they changed warrior is just lazy and completly out of touch
And here I disagree with you. Beside the nerfs weren’t enough, since they haven’t touch your easy way to deal damage, it was correct to nerf def stance.
You want them to nerf the active defense that comes along with some awareness / skill and actively cost some real damage, because you need to trade rage for it.
But I think it was a good idea to nerf the passive no skill wall, that even a bad player can handle.
