Oh man, I spent so much time hanging around Durotar, it was wonderful back then, the place was populated, with all the players duelling and chatting, it’s so empty on retail nowadays. :’(
I’ve played rogue for so long it’s hard for me to go with any other class.
Loved Mage, however I am playing a Rogue on Retail now, and whilst I know full well neither Class is the same now as it was back then, Rogue is looking -very- interested to me.
The only problem is, -ALOT- of people are seemingly trying to subliminally/stealthily put me off playing the Rogue Class due to “Everyone will Roll Rogue, you wont get into Raids, and even when you do, you’ll share gear with near enough 90% of other Players/Classes.” etc, etc. So maaaaan. Dilemma.
At the moment I’m between about 4 Classes. Mage, Rogue, Hunter & Shaman. In that order. First two will be a very close choice, and the latter might be just chill/Alt Chars.
But I know Im going to rock on a Mage again, but Rogue has been incredibly fun, Classic Rogues only falling second to Mace Spec TBC Rogues for me (Though this was from me playing as a Mages perspective, they seemed crazy fun).
Yeah, a lot of people will roll rogues, but how many of them will actually stick around? People who started playing WoW in Cata and later won’t like the lack of QoL changes added in later patches.
Energy ticks, vanish powder, mats needed to craft poisons, ahhh, fun times 
Not sure what spec I’ll be playing for PvP, maybe CB Hemo early on then switch to Backstab /w Improved Sprint and Kick when everyone’s geared.
After I level my rogue, I’ll probably level a warlock, I started out as a warlock when I first started.
Now the hardest question. Orc or Undead for PvP as Rogue?
Think WotF is even that decent as a Rogue? I mean their skills to defeat Priests and Warlocks are already insane, plus their Trinket breaks Fear and Charm anyhow, so begs the question, would rolling Orc for the RNG Stun resist combined with Blood Fury be better? Or does WotF being a back-up over-scale that due to paranoia? Hah.
I went with undead, I made male undead at first, but decided to go with female instead because that finisher frontflip animation is too good, 5 sec immunity from WotF is really good, makes it a lot easier to take on more than 1 warlock/priest at once, oh and don’t forget being able to breath underwater 4 times as long, could come in handy in case if you ever find yourself in certain situations, like a mage attempting to drown you by keeping you sheeped underwater. 
There’s cannibalize too, you can macro that with stealth.
I’m going with Engineering so I can craft frost/shadow/fire reflect trinket, that sheep dispelling trinket, stealth detection goggles, rocket boots, just to be extra annoying in duels and World PvP haha.
Snap. I’ll be going Mining/Engi on both, I think.

I don’t think anyone I used to play more actively with during Vanilla / BC is around anymore from The Dark Sphere etc. I’ll be going to ZT, less RP more PvP this time but I hope to catch some good people in taverns at late night again.
I think it was before Leara joined, I vagely remember that name. early MC. It was a human rogue, i believe the name was something like hrujia

I started WoW in vanilla and even untill this day i play(ed) on Defias Brotherhood. (Desfados - human rogue now)
Been in some raiding guilds & pvp guilds such as United back in vanilla.
I remember Kerethrill who was a fellow NE Rogue & his girlfriend Firae a female NE Rogue, Daak was a human Rogue. Gurion from Crimson Gauntlet was a Gnome Rogue and had a Gnome Warrior. Weasel (NE Rogue)
Some other buddies of mine where Aethaltir (Warrior), Archmondiar(Warrior), Rayul(Druid), Nemnah (Warrior) , Eledess(Mage who was in CG & Elysium later on) , Sightill (Druid) , Corey (NE Rogue), Alysia (Druid) and many more who i can’t remember the name of.
Some of the horde i remember are Gharb, there was a Troll shaman Vook? in STV killing everything he could and a Mage being hunted all the time

Vook was a mage wasn’t he? The one who always managed to blink away with 1 % hp after a killing spree in Stormwind. I’m still bitter about it.

Actually, Fortesgue drops by very occasionally. I’d say it’s months rather than years since I last saw him. I have Lephia on Facebook, I think, although I confess it has been a long time since I saw any activity from her so perhaps she has unfriended me. I’ll try to drop her a message and let her know you were asking after her.

On Retail, I am Valestrion, GM of the Disciples of Light for 4 of the last 6 years (Beladon did a couple of years in the middle). I’ve only been around since TBC, but I recognise some of the names here.
On Classic, I shall be Casperian, Human Paladin, on Zandalar Tribe, at least initially. Also have Norglin, Dwarf Hunter, and Dathan, Human Warrior, reserved.

Faerin, Dwarf rogue in the guild Elysium. Was there for all the server first AQ40 and Naxx boss kills, either on my rogue or my druid called Phoebele. I also PvP’ed a lot on both characters. It’s amazing to see so many familiar names over a decade after we played together! Will be playing a Dwarf hunter or Human mage on Zandalar Tribe. It would be great if any long lost friends/acquaintances make contact!
