We never really met, but I remember your name. I also remember you being in someone’s little comic about DPS meters from back in the days from a guildie of yours I believe. I still think I have it somewhere. Not sure amongst the other old stuff from back then.

It’s been a long time, hasn’t it?
I played Rangor an Orc Shaman and founded The Burning Dawn at the start of the server on the Horde Side. We had a huge RPPvP focused guild at the start and as some of you may remember I rerolled to Alliance as the Paladin Saul and founded another guild The Alliance Watch. I also played a Human Mage called Zendor with whom I managed to get Grand Marshal.
I don’t intend on returning to the game I have not really played seriously since Cataclysm. Though seeing so many familiar people in this forum does make me miss it. After cross realms were introduced the game never felt the same and I always missed the old Defias.
I wish you all good luck, I’m posting on my wifes account since I can’t log into mine anymore, it’s been too long!

I played a Rogue in RR, named Nilmar/Oria/Vexe, god knows i’ve had too many names
Soltys and Ligors names rings a bell. Cant remember if i was in that guild, it sounds familiar but not sure. My friend Andorcia might have been in there on his rogue though.
So i’ve pulled the trigger. Gonna see what a month of Classic will do.
Going to play a Human Rogue who goes under the name Desfados (as my retail one) on the realm: Zandalari Tribe. Who else plays on this realm?

Larania (night elf druid) and Araugusto (gnome mage) were the two characters I played in the olden days. I think I was 13 years old when I started playing, so even if someone remembers me, who knows if it’s fondly.
Outcast Legion is the only guild I can remember being in, since I did all my raiding with them. I know I was in several other guilds, but to be fair it was 15 years ago.
I’m hoping to reconnect with anyone who had their bells rung by my character names, it would just be interesting to hear how people are doing and where they are in life. Gharb is one of few names I recognize in this thread, that dude was a menace.

I was just reading an article about WoW classic and found a link to this page. I haven’t played in over a decade but thought it might be funny to see what names would come up with a quick ctrl+f search that I remembered from all those ago. Had to reactivate and pay a month’s subscription on my very old account just to write this message!
You may not remember me. My older IRL brother was in The Alliance Watch as a dwarf hunter called Ungar back on Earthen Ring. I was Mergen. Then later he was in Burning Dawn on Defias Brotherhood as an undead priest called… Vanz or something. Then when you switched back to Alliance I was Mergen again. I never got to level 60 (when that was the cap) but I do recall some amazing huge PvP battles and stuff.
Anyway, I was 12 when I got the game (27 now) and had never played an MMO before. I cringe at what I can recall from those days, which is thankfully not much. But I do remember that you were extremely patient and kind with my younger self who you allowed to be in the guild despite me generally being a nuisance. So I thought I’d take what is probably the only opportunity I’ll ever have to say thanks and best wishes! My brother is on holiday at the moment, but I’m sure he would send his best wishes too.
