I would say that’s the simplest most obvious solution, but I wonder if there’s some sort of technical limitation on the back end code… Maybe the game has a certain priority order that can’t be change for an individual spell? Think something along the lines, player character floor effects always overlap enemy npc effects (no idea what happens in pvp there tbh)

I wouldn’t want to see Defile be gone, the idea of UHDK corrupting the floor underneath us is perfect fantasy wise, the dark opposite of paladin’s consecration. Just give us some QOL man!
