Pretty much yeah. And while it can be tiring to call people out for behaviours like OP’s in this thread or the disgusting behaviours of the Smash Bros community, it’s so much worse to allow these vultures to remain at large and exploit the unknowing.

A pro Fortnite player recently came out as ftm trans, and the announcement tweet was buzzing with vitriol.

If you go to an online community and look for the awfulness, you’re absolutely going to find out. That’s why it’s important to form your own group within a community, with the same ideals/approach, so you can avoid the worst individuals/groups.
