I just did a bunch of tier 8 delves in a group with a tank and a healer (I was dps). Those runs were easier than doing a tier 4 solo, and substantially easier than M0 dungeons - by a really, really large margin. Bountiful delves drop better gear than M0s too, and the same track as the normal raid.
I only tried them solo with 586 and the T5 was enough for me. Was slow going, with Brann as a healer barely doing any healing. The T8s with my friends (BDK and RDruid) felt like a T3 solo. It was unusually easy, and in stark contrast to the M0s I did today (all of them were challenging).
I soloed up to tier 5 as a 578 fury warrior before I decided I was starting to get 2/3 shotted if I wasnt paying attention. Grouped up to T8, but I think I was in a bad group for that because they kept pulling stuff when most of our health was low. (Why couldnt they wait to heal?)
I much prefer to do this solo l and I probably will once I get better gear. This is going to be my method of gearing up. I dont have to worry about the monotony of dungeons and if I want to take a quick break for whatever reason I can just park myself in the corner and not need to worry about anything.
Delves are great for people who hate M+ so I am glad there is another method of gearing up without having to do them.
lol what a silly post… content is meant to be solo friendly infact their end game… but with all Blizzard games they don’t factor in scaling with player power see D4 for the exact same issues.
They should be adjusted then. They were meant to be for solo players.
They are also badly tuned among themselves…
Anyway I hope they will hotfix all this.
