Personally I haven’t completed a T11 Delve, I don’t place myself as anything above Average in this game, however I’m sure that videos exist on this forum.
If I’m wrong, then replace T11 with T8, it doesn’t change my point.
Try and solo a current raid to see what “not supported” looks like.
I am not talking about Raids or dungeons. I am talking about seemles progression as a solo player. It meant you progress wihout group activities and without buying grear from auction house. This is what talking
And Delve’s are one aspect of play, but I’m trying to consider more than my own point of view when constructing an argument. Perhaps I’m doing that badly, however my principle point in this thread is as long as people of reasonable skill can solo a Delve, they “support” solo play.
They don’t even have to be easy, Dark Souls isn’t easy but you can’t say it doesn’t encourage solo play.
They are, but they’re more importantly: New endgame progression for solo / world content players. Something ‘we’ never had before. So I think that takes precedence over your group play, for which you already have multiple endgame progression options.
You’re being greedy. Stop being greedy.
Let players who like something else, finally have something as well.
Not all world content players play solo, some do of course.
I am happy that world content players have something new to do, but guess what, everyone tends to get involved in world content at some point in their wow journey.
Wanting to enjoy a feature I paid for is not being “greedy”.
I often write quickly, and perhaps coldly, it’s why I prefer to call rather than text, as tone is much easier to deliver over voice than with words.
I believe that in a game that was designed around “doing things with your friends” it’s madness to deny access to features to people who want to do just that.
I actaully agreed with you that in groups, Brann should be removed from Delves, I don’t get my followers when I run a mythic dungeon after all.
And we disagree on that.
If a feature is designed for a specific type of player, then it can break the ‘regular rules’. Especially if, like in this case, those rules ruin the activity for the intended part of the playerbase. That’s just not okay.
That’s like having a film festival for adult fans of movies.
But one year the organization decides: Let’s have 1 movie for kids too this year.
And then the adult fans go: Well, I want to watch the movie too, so it has to be something I like.
If that was true, I’d agree with you, however Blizzard have never stated that Delves were designed specifically for solo players.
You feel they should be designed for solo players, and you are entitled to feel that way, but it doesn’t change the fact Blizzard wants them to be open to everyone.
Not sure if I missed something in this thread I didn’'t read every post.
A level 9 delve is recommended 610+ il for a solo player most people don’t have that yet so that level is going to be way beyond most people. If you are playing solo why does it matter what groups are doing.
I mean they should prob make them harder for groups as they do seem a little easy for the reward you will be given but hey.
Keep them as they are for solo players so they are basically end game content on your own sure groups can complete them but they are a group and you will be solo so yeah its going to be way harder. Like i said i dont understand what the fuss is about,
As being part of the playerbase for which this activity was specifically made, I feel I have more right to it than someone who already has other endgame options.
Of course I don’t literally ‘own’ it. Blizzard owns it. And I’m hoping they’ll do the right thing.
Because it’s for solo and world content players.
That’s broader than just solo. My point stands: if you listen to what he says; it’s implied its for those players. Specifically.
The type of content you enjoy doing most and is your main go-to activity is what makes you a X, Y or Z player.
Of course there are players who genuinely do lots of stuff and enjoy all of it.
There’s also players who very specifically like a certain activity.
I ‘identify as’ a world content player who prefers solo gameplay.
But I also do dungeons from time to time (no mythics). I also do LFR.
That doesn’t make me a raider.
