This specs goes under the radar because of DHs but it does insane. Spec doesn’t take any damage and you constantly have to destroy something especially if he plays with R Shaman. Imagine playing with SP in 3s. You have to kill Psyfiend, Obelisk, Observer, Healing Tide, Grounding. Half of the time you destroy some crap on the ground and doesn’t hit him even. At the same time guy summons pets and then just spams CC doing insane damage.
That is because 95% of player think they need to kick tyran damage to counter demono
When the true spell to kick is Hand of Guldan
I played at the start of the season no one kicked me on hand of guldan but when they see me cast Nether Portal people kick instant.
People don’t know how work demono most of the time and think interrupt on certain spell like Hand of guldan don’t matter
Hand of guldan is shadowflame spell that deal some aoe damage but that’s the spell that summon imp
If you interrupt shadow bolt or other spell the warlock can still cast hand of guldan
If you interrupt Hand of Guldan not also he can’t cast at all
But also no imps
Result of making tyran useless to cast since no imp
also blocking the warlock using his demonbolt since he’s already full on shard
Everytime a spec come out of the shadow and come to the light 95% of the playerbase meet that spec the first time and since they don’t know how it work instant go to the forums and ask for a nerf
If you let the time to the playerbase to learn how to counter demono warlock by letting playing this, you will see in the future that demono will be “nerfed” because they will be no longer free to hand of guldan as they want
Sadly most of the forums nowadays seek nerf instead of learning how to counter
If demono lock was that op it would be #1 ranged played

You are out of date bro. Tyrant doesn’t matter anymore since it got changed. Not it’s 1 min. cd and it buffs other pets by 15%. You need to root pets to lower damage. Tyrant itself doesn’t do much anymore

With respect it’s generally great on paper but in practice he spams CC into you all the time so these tips are useless. Try some 2s on 2k mmr - 50% of times you will play against Demo. Most of them are awful literally facetanking.
No offence bro but you just played few shuffles so far and you don’t know what you’re talking about. Stats on drustvar are helpful but overall people didn’t figure out meta themselves. DH was generally obvious S+++ tier so you have plenty of them but Rogues, Unh and Demo aren’t far behind. Just because all disgusting fotmers rerolled to it in the first week it doesn’t mean much.
And regarding DHs - I agree they are the worst however they balance themselves due to their community. 90% of them are chimps who have no idea what they are doing because they are disgusting fotm rerollers.
To clarify Destrarion I have a lot of respect towards you and it didn’t change but… You’re wrong this time.

I never personally liked how demo plays, its toxic and degen gameplay imho. Especially in 2’s. Guy just sits in range of teleport or gate way, spams zoo. Doesn’t feel like theres a real way to shut down his go like vs most wizards rn except for running to africa. And even then africa only does so much since pets follow you behind the pillar and still do a good bit of damage. Game always seems to drag to high damp unless you’re expecting the game to be closed in first two minutes
also demon bolt does way too much damage for an instant cast iirc

Tyrant has been reworked and it does no damage it only buff all pets damage by 15%.

I’m still not ashamed of this message since I wanted to chat normally because overall I feel you’re ok but today you have some weird issues with me. This time I don’t agree with you and I know how to lower Demo damage by rooting/using Static Field Totem. I know that Demon Bolt is one of the main sources of damage behind the main pet. And guess what my spec was insane into Demo last patch singe you doted 6 targets and had proc city.
Also I already talked to my go to Warlock guys to ask how to deal with you. With all respect you’re not experienced on Warlock enough to be my Demo authority. I’d come to you if I wanted to have any opinion about Marksman. Also first of all you didn’t play this patch enough to have any idea about the matchup that’s first since you only played few shuffles on Demo. Demo got so many chances that if you didn’t actually play the matchup yourself your opinion is like predicting future and I don’t believe you are any form of oracle. Second of all you’re coming with some tips that are nice on paper but don’t work since Demo is a spec that has similar amount of CC as Rogue. You can get 2x Stunned + Coil on the go. It’s quite hard to stop every cast especially when he is paired with Shaman but you didn’t consider it.
Cool story bro, but nobody asked. Also it’s an arena forum and playing Demo in RBG has nothing to do with playing Arenas. We also took Demo for caping RBGs last season - he was defending bases as he was doing nothing.

But how do you kill a demo lock? I was in a shuffle to day, me as a DK, a DH and a resto druid. There was this demo lock in the middle of the map tanking our damage like nothing. Druid did a insane good Job to CC the healer while me and the DH did some unhealable damage. And the warlock killed the DH like nothing. While not loseing much hp…
I dont get it. I never played lock. So iam just asking. How do you kill a warlock?

You use kick on cooldown, don’t let him get any casts off, cleave or kill his main pet.

I get it bro but it’s me being most of the time in CC destroying 5 things on the ground. I watched Whaazz a bit they didn’t consider Demo a kill target ever.

Nah. I’m sick of nerfs. It doesn’t work. Demo needs an overhaul rework. What exactly can blizzard nerf?
They made half our talents useless and turned it into some weird crit chance fiesta.
They removed our kick because people kept crying about demo having too much control (rightfully so) now we are left with nothing.
The spec is extremely boring to play and I don’t even feel good winning games. I hate relying on trash ai pets to do all the work. It’s really demoralising when you’ve stuck with the spec for years and when it finally gets buffed all these dogs start playing it and giving it a bad name

Oh trust I ain’t defending demo. Ik how frustrating it is to face. On my enhance I’ve faced many bad demos that just win from spamming an army of demons. It’s awful design
Then the issue is in your damage. Lock has shields but not invincibility.
Then it was not really an unhealable after all.
Damage of the warlock is tied to the demons - slow, CC them, especially vilefiend or second felguard and 80% of Demo damage is fairly neglectable.
People think that it is just summon demon A and demon B and that’s it, game is won, when in reality you can ruin life for demy by simply CCing demons at the key moments - Demo summons a tyrant - fear/stun/freeze tyrant he only lives 15 seconds and his damage has been nerfed in 10.2.
But looking at topic starter - you are playing the freaking shaman where ele is a spam bot and Ench has so many tools to avoid demo damage - all totems, range damage burrow and rest of your toolkit.
