that u dont know how game was working … after u kill 1 boss u was able to leave … no matter if that is lfr or dungeon finder

I didn’t say anything about legion, bfa, or SL, because I have happily repressed every memory of ever being in those raids, but it most definitely was a thing during DF.
So, either get a better memory or stop gaslighting yourself
No it wasn’t… I’ve often joined LFR past Terros dead killing the two other bosses to reapply to the same wing to get Terros done for his necklace [for mount] where upon I left after not receiving the deserter debuff…

Today I runnied 2 alts in LFR. Both got joined in sec boss… Since who leaved after 1 boss down.
I’m so unpleased as I missed first boss.
I knew blue post said will make change deserter very long maybe hour than 30min. Make players stop leave for first boss.

There will always be someone who leaves early, no matter how harsh penalties they put in. So, if someone leaves early, someone else needs to join. But now that new joiner will be missing the first boss, so they must join another run, and then they should be allowed to leave after that boss, and not be forced to do bosses they already killed and can’t get loot from. That’s how the game has worked for the last 10+ years until this recent change.
If Blizz implement really harsh deserter penalty, people will just start being AFK or try to troll the raid because they don’t want to be there, and can’t even get loot. This is worse for everyone involved.
Blizzard, just revert back to how it worked previously in LFR. The deserter change was implemented because of Ara-Kara trinket, why mess up LFR which has worked without problems for 10+ years?

You are missing the point, which is that in that fresh raid, if you have already killed the last 2 bosses, but not the first one (because you got called in mid-raid), you will only want to do the first boss, because you can get no loot from the last 2 bosses.
SO what do you do? For the last 10 years you have been able to drop after the first boss and then move on to the next wing. But now you can’t.
So what will people do? Best case they will just go afk after killing the first boss. Worst case, they will start trolling the raid, because they don’t want to be there, there is no reward for them being there and it is TERRIBLE design to force people being in raids they absolutely have no incentive of participating in.
