Hello everyone! So I’ve just experienced the deserter buff from getting kicked from a group. I had no idea, I only thought you would get it from leaving. I have read the forums and come to understanding that this is working as intended.
I think this needs a change straight away. To start I understand blizzards incentive as to why the debuff works as it does I do however think it serves the minority. To give some context to my experience. I was in a Timewalking instance with a group and a tank that was rather unexperienced so I got threat multiple times and with being dps and getting threat resulted in my death, 2 times. This lead the tank to initiate a kick vote against me and then I was removed from the group and with a deserter debuff. I think this should absolutely not be the case.
Please make it so the debuff only targets those who actively leave the instance, because as it is right now. It’s just terrible…
