Trying to work on reducing my avoidable dmg in m+…
Does anyone know how I can get the ‘Details - Elitism helper’ plugin to work? I’ve downloaded and installed it, but it’s not showing under the ‘plugins’ menu in the Details interface

You dont really need it. Do the run to the best of your abilities and then check afterwards. Youre just going to end up being distracted otherwise.

Oh, I thought it was that shows the total at the end. I’m not interested in keeping track of dmg in realtime throughout the run xD

It is kind of fun, I agree. You get to stand in stuff and see your character’s name pop up in chat.
People should learn to not step in avoidable things. But oxx well I know people are stupid
Yeah, but it preemptively stops silly DPS Players from complaining about my healing when everyone can see that they died to avoidable damage.

Wasnt there an option to see damage taken on !details or something?
Difficult to remember when you are not in-game since I got it on muscle memory

Whenever I see these kind of messages in pug, the person goes directly to blocked list. As well as annoying PI direct messages, who the hell came up with this idea.

There are many things people should learn which they have not yet. That does not make it okay to single them out.
I strongly dislike people who do not help but do blame, or say there’s no excuse ever for anything.
Like, okay - I got hit by the spear. I could’ve dodged it technically but unfortunately I missed it because we’re pulling 15 mobs and I’m ordered to stand in the green circle and the swirlie is small and brown on a brown/grey background and bring further covered by that green circle and I used Shifting Power which basically covered the whole screen and there’s a million things lighting up due to the UI changes and I’ve got 26 cool-downs to track, and they changed my entire rotation this week.
But yes, I could’ve walked slightly to the left. My bad.

I prefer to look at the healthbars bouncing back and forth instead.
That instantly results in that person going on ignore. I know if I’ve stood in something and sometimes I can’t avoid having to stand in something. I presume other people do too.
It’s the most obnoxious unnecessary addon in existence.
I have seen people just post at the end of runs. That’s fine but the verbal diarrhoea is not.

Distracting someone from the task at hand to say you stood in poo is a bit counterproductive.

And dbm is usually sufficient to realise something happened. Tho there are times I die and I have no clue what happened

Tbh, if they’ve pugged their way from nothing to 20s, they’ve learned.
The things start being lethal around 18-19s and you get hardstuck until you figure it out 
I mean, I will still sometimes stand in the things, but it’s an error of execution not a lack of knowledge that I should have moved. Sometimes effects layer up, or you get distracted by something for 0.5 seconds and now you can’t LoS the AoE in time and splat. Or it’s just oarsmen in freehold. They seem to kill everyone.
Recap should be able to tell you, or the log itself after a run.
