Development Preview: Cross-Faction Instances

They are not, horde players are by far more toxic and elitist than alliance players, its a nightmare to play. Only time i ever quit the game was after having to go horde, because the community on horde is so garbage compared to alliance

There’s no difference in the community between playing on horde or alliance, it’s only a numbers issue. I say this as someone that plays both factions.

So after 16 years you make this change and think this will be good ?

R.I.P world of warcraft.

Each year closer to a mobile game $$$$

At least he can get past lvl 11.

There is plenty of difference in attitude between the two factions, i say this as someone who has played both factions

Nah, you just don’t want to own up to the truth it’s the same.

Good job guys, no caveats, just job well done.

No filthy alliance will pollute my party.

Sadly WoW looses it character, it was the last thing i’d expect to happen. At least there is still classic to enjoy ā€˜normal’ WoW.

So can I mail things to my Hordes now?

So many people are living in the past and refuse to accept the change. A lot are stuck in their old mindsets it’s one of the reasons why the game is bad. All I can say is that those who don’t embrace this change then you are free to go play other games.

This is not near enough, do the entire thing. If you say players should be able to choose, give them a proper ability to choose.
Guilds should also be cross faction, to allow people to actually organize together.
Faction tagging should go away, to allow people to cooperate in the open world.
Conversation in /s and /e should also be cross faction, if enabled, to allow casual play and roleplay to happen.
And so on.
If you are doing it, do it. Half solutions are a waste of time,

Why stop there? Why no cross-faction guilds, raids, battlegrounds, arenas, what have you?
Hell, why not get rid of factions altogether? I mean at this point they hardly make sense anymore anyways…

Awesome, really!! Thanks Blizzard

This is welcome change for rated pvp  ty blizz!

A first step in the right direction. Only took several years :joy:.

Well you lost most of them…so in the end you should be glad there are any horde cities to begin with.

Imagine how many subscribers must be left if order to make such an important decision in a patch and not in a new expansion. A good change after all. But again…

Why are you this dense? Why did it take you so long? I am guessing you prolonged it as far you could so that when the game was about to die, you made this decision for a radical very popular very good change… to keep or bring people back.

If only other things people said for so many years were implemented earlier…

I am happy about this! Good work!
