Why the hell would you change the spawnrate and change the game more away from vanilla?
You have time and worry about devilsaur spawnrates but didnt waste any thought about MC being undertuned with 1.12 gear?

I’m pretty sure vanilla spawn rates were extremely slow compared to private servers and Classic’s spawn rates were.
They just nerfed it from 13-16 min down to 5-6 min, so more people can get their devilsaur loot and farm skins.
First nerf to get easier loot, heading towards BFA 
This is likely just a case of the dynamic spawn system in play. More people in the zone = more rapid spawns. Considering that player numbers are roughly triple of what used to be normal on vanilla servers this makes sense.
No, it was always 100% accurate between 13-16 minutes before the stealth nerf. Now its down to 5-6 minutes, also accurate, not depending on the players online nor daytime.
Seriously? damn, I guess it’s their way of combating the devilsaur mafia then, because I think they had complaints of them selling gold/RWTing.
Are you sure that there are any changes? Or that dynamic respawns aren’t active due to amount of players? With larger amount of players in a zone the timers do get altered.
Everyone who has farmed them knows all the exact 6 spawn location and the exact respawn time windows, yes of course we are sure they’ve changed it. 
I stopped farming some time ago when dropping skinning, and they did spawn sometimes randomly.
The respawn time was a random between 10 and 16 minutes, now its 5-8 minutes.

Hm… I’m quite sure I’ve seen the most northern spot by the river mini lake to respawn sometimes within 5 mins.
Not before the change, no. You might’ve confused him with another spawn and thought it died 5 minutes ago when it was a different one.
except lfr is harder than any classic content
