enh design going in the right direction, but many talents are still trash.
row 1:
Boulder fist: useless talent, maybe for leveling???
Forceful winds: aoe talent only
Ele blast: probably ST talent, but currently wet noodle
row 2:
Landslide / hot hand: breaks the design to have actual dmg with storm strike and lava lash because of whooping 100% dmg increase. If you buff base dmg too much, those talents provide one shots
totem mastery: annoying to use
row 3:
spirit wolf: stacking DR makes it essential useless pretty much everywhere
Earth shield: nice but now removes lightning shield ??? also please remove the stupid charges or at least that if I switch the zones that it just disappears…
static charge: useless. 40s vs 60s usually don’t matter in dungeons. in all other content even more useless
row 4:
Hailstorm: absolutely terrible. Can be used for slowing more people? Well we got earth bind for that. Frost shock will never do a lot dmg. Flame shock has no benefit outside a little dps and scales with nothing
Searing assault: Maybe ok, but probably a dead talent if not highest dps of the row. Will be clunky to use.
Overcharge: Like the idea, the cd is just way to high for the little dmg / utility it offers in return, especially when it is on gcd
row 5:
Natures guardian: is ok, but should be baseline and probably be 40% (at least in pvp) Due to healing reductions the % heal is pretty much 0
Feral lunge: great concept, crappy realization. 8-25y is just terrible, especially if you have 100+ ping. I am either out of range or to close.
Wind rush: ok, whatever, never used it in my life. (I don’t raid)
row 6:
crashing storm: dead talent. No dmg, no utility, little aoe that can move out
Stormkeeper: weird. but better than fury of garbage
Sundering: good, but the hit box sucks
row 7:
Feral Spirits: for the love of god change this talent to 3 wolves, 1 of each wolf each cast or let the cast alternate double element wolves. Roll the wolves is NOT FUN AT ALL damnit
Earthen Spike: love it, but undertuned. Add good dmg to the cast and it will be great for single target
Ascendenace: Delete it or reduce the cd to 1.5 - 2mins. the dmg increase is not incredible and the duration too short for a 3 min cd.
GCD makes this talent even worse.
Why we get nothing on activation? Resto does, pala wings do, etc.
So far to the talents.
Now for healing / def:
Instant healing surges should get 10% per stack MSW increase. Now it cannot be spammed instantly, so why it still heals for absolutely nothing?
Don’t be fooled by alpha HP pools, once we have gear the heals will be probably 6-7% max HP, now not even instant anymore.
Remove swelling waves if you think it will be too much later on…
Why ele healing surges heal almost double on alpha???
Astral Shift:
I don’t care about the name, but 1min cd, 40% dmg reduction, usuable while stunned, removes all magic debuffs
When we had this, we were still squishy as crap but at least we still could play the game (sometimes…)
Although in woltk we had a lot less physical stuns and more magical stuns that we could cleanse out with shamy rage.
if it stays this way we will be still trash tier, even though the design philosophy went back to earlier xpacks (which is very good!)
I forgot 1 big thing:
healing stream totem. On alpha the heal is quite okay, while i guess the scaling is terrible.
The take away is that it only has 5 health. Works in pve because mobs will not attack it, but it is a terrible solution for pvp even if it heals for a lot.
