Loot system issue, and even when rolling, the odds are always much higher than 0.3%, thats not even considering the time investment.
My second BIS is gated behind a 0.3 % slot machine, which in the worst case, I can roll every 30 min. BIS is gated behind a heroic endwing boss. 3rd BIS is also a heroic raid drop with worse stats (even tho the item level is 372). So if your not killing heroic bosses regulary, your not even getting anything comparable to zinrokh all phase.
Connecting BIS to RNG always felt bad.Titanforging and warfoging were the best examples for this. It doesnt respect your time and you might never be finished.
I don’t get why people advocate for this. Without the epics there is no grind, the other rares come naturally and the pacing is good. Theres no benefit to making the grind endless or take so lang that youll spend double the time solving then actually raiding in the phase (besides artificial engagement metrics of course)
And for the love of good spare me the, “JuSt DoNt sOlVe, NoBOdY iS fOrCING YOU”, its the second best weapon in the game, not trying to aquire it is griefing yourself and your raid team.
Makes it worse that people got that much character power in 20-40 solves for literally the minimum effort, the definition of free handouts.

In original cata players was in “discovering” state. Now players in minmaxing state. Don’t even think about retail(cause i know you will to parry). Absolutely same thing there. If original cata was released now for the first time, reaction would be the same.
For this year, for this players generation archaeology in its current state is most stupid thing that could exists.

You’re griefing yourself by forcing yourself to spend unhealthy amount of time playing that roulette and losing. Also for Phase 11 there are at least 3 upgrades over Arch Epic for Ret Paladin. Yes the all drop from 25HC and yes without Arch you might need to do Normals week 1. is skipping that worth this insanity. i dunno, you tell me

Zin has better secondaries, I personally dont think the axe or mace are better and if so then only marginally. Your losing so much stats on expertise, even when reforging.
Not just that, your freeing up any HC weapon drops for your guildies since you already have a good weapon. Its just to good to pass up

Pre raid BiS who gives a damn, I have nearly all server first and Ravencrest for the Cata raids, and we never had pre raid Bis, now it is confirmed that they will release the nerfed versions of the raids, at launch man it is a joke, that is what is bothering me, nerf content make people think they are good, where most (retail) players suck balls only caring about their parses, where they have no clue about cc, kiting etc.
Guess what get good instead of getting gear.
