I noticed the last few times i went to scholomance the drop rate has been super lower. It’s probably not a large enough sample to say for sure, but its been like 5 runs of getting at max 1.
Has anyone else noticed this, if so it it a planned change or is there a reason for it?
They now drop more from the final ‘boss rush’ part of the instance instead of many from trash mobs.
Which kinda sucks as it makes it harder to farm the trash in a small group for them.
farm demonic runes in dme instead.

Yep, a lot more effective. You can also solo farm the demons in Azshara for them as well.
and yes op, blizz destoyed the loot tables in scholomance, has been reported many times as a bug, but dont expect any fixes obviously
I think their drops are spread to all mobs in the dungeon now, getting loads of dark runes post kirtonos room and in the rooms for the 6 minibosses pre gandling, didn’t get any drops from those mobs before this patch.
ive done scholo 10 times since aq opened, the 6 minibosses at end usually only drop dark runes and items from the trash drop table, and usually nothing from their drop tables. its obviously a bug, in the same way that the pala libram having 100% drop chance instead of 2% is a bug
not sure about it being 100% but I have heard some guildies getting like 4 libram drops in 1 run and then not getting any drops for another 4 runs, something does seem off or weird atm I do agree
