Seems like it , I mean it is not bad decision to release just the DM, people who level will not get attacked by honor hungry players and rushers get some extra content for few weeks.

How will Dire Maul bring more content to 60 players? Its been a LONG time since I did Dire Maul, many many years, but I remember Dire Maul being a dungeon for lvl 47-50’s or something like that.
Then you did it after cataclysm. In vanilla Dire Maul was a level 60 dungeon.

Er… it’s just Dire Maul. Lol. It’s hardly going to ruin your game experience if you’re still levelling. I’m 37 and I’m levelling really slowly, yet I’m not complaining and shouting “Wait for meeee!”
I mean, I don’t even really care about Classic endgame. It’s not for me. If they do TBC servers then I’ll be all over that endgame like a druggie, but as for Classic, my goal is to just level and that’s about it, really.

Of the ones who are 60, most haven’t finished gearing yet, except hardcores.

When DM comes out, next to nobody will be running anything else thus making it really hard for ungeared people to finish their pre-raid gearing.
