I can say this, no reason to risk your account over this. Finish the dungeon get the buffs, reset and wait until they run off. The “its not my fault blizzard f’ed up” is not an excuse and it never really matters when its time for the ban hammer.
Edit: it was hotfixed minutes ago, idd you could stack the buffs
we did the run like 2-3 times and got the stacking buffs but we didnt care for it or adjust anything. i personally didnt even check if they stacked i just assumed it was a tooltip error since they are not that super vital for a healer anyway.
I think you’re referring to something completely different and unrelated.
That’s a quote from my original post regarding enchants taking up buff slots. That was hotfixed.
Edit: Actually this may be me missunderstanding the quote system of the forum. It snips so that it only includes the last paragraph which is about buffs and the buffcap. I still can’t find the official hotfix post though.
If you trace back this quote it comes to my post regarding enchants taking up buff slots.

They got it right, this bug worked back in vanilla no one just ever abused it, there is some screenshot of a druid back in tbc abusing this in SSC and then it got fixed.
Because the phrase “We just farming runs, it aint our fault it’s bugged” will be interpreted by Blizzard like “We are 100% sure its an exploit but we can’t ourselves from not farming runs”.
Glad you brought it to the open…however i do seriously question how on earth this wasn’t found during testing? Did they even run the dungeon consecutively just once to see if the buff would stack?
So Activision decided to fix this pretty vanilla intended bug but left Scatter-Trap deminishing for some reasons ?
Both are bugs and were up during current patch.
