[Disability Inclusion] Allow old-style flying in new zones - For a price of Gold!

Isn’t it about time you stop being spiteful and allow people to ride NORMAL flying mounts in the new zones…

So you have this “Dragonriding” thing, which is far too difficult for anyone who has a Disability to use. Which excludes any disabled people who have an hinderance limiting their ability to use Dragonriding from playing modern WoW as it currently is.

Any debate on the Forums as to if botters would be able to take advantage if old-style flying was allowed in new zones - is nullified by this level of exclusion to minority groups (disabled people) in today’s world.

Just let people use the old style flying & stop the spite!

Disabled people want to play modern WoW too!

Excluding a group of people from playing the game honestly - ‘just in case’ people might run bots is not a good thing at all. If people would run more bots, employ more staff to deal with that!

Normal - old style flying should be attainable for a price of gold from the flight trainer. As per the original design. It should not be locked behind updates and achievements. It should be available from the start of an expansion for a simple price of gold.

It has been announced we will have normal flying in 10.2. We are required to unlock it via achievement, as always.

Dragon isles 10.2 will feature ordinary flight as Aesedai posted.

via achievement is not good enough. Just spite on top of spite.

I have argued since the very first pathfinder achievement… Flying should be unlocked by paying some gold to a flight trainer. As per the original design (lich king flying).

Yes thank you… you can also voice your opinions here, or make a new topic about it if you would like to - people!

As it seems the only way to get this message across to the devs is to keep the flow of freshly created topics on this matter ongoing.

Maybe if these forums became inundated with topics about this subject - they would actually take notice.

Blizzard stated pre DF if you did not want to do renwon you could ignore it as it offered only cosmectics. Now we are forced to do it for flying which should not be the case at all. I get motion sickness for dragon flying so its been hard for me to fly around and do quests.
We should have an option to buy it.

Anyone with a disability bad enough to not be able to do dragonriding that also doesn’t have 15 renown yet im curious what they do in the game for fun.

I only answered him, telling him what Blizzard had already announced about what they would release on the next patch. No matter how much you don’t like it, I can’t do anything about it., no matter how you quote me as if we are having a discussion about what should happen from different points of view. We don’t. Explaining what is coming doesn’t mean I defend what is coming.

I did, renown is passively gained from doing almost anything.

It seems they quoted you to denote where they are coming in to the topic. Not to have a go at you.

Perhaps they are not playing at all - as the frustration of exclusion keeps them away? Everyone is different.

So far as I know, Devs don’t read these forums. They never have done. The quickest way to pass messages on is to use the ingame suggestion box.

No it is not at all, you have to do dailies and wq and other things which means using dragon flying which you cant if it makes you ill.

Also blizzard stated pre DF we would not need to do them or feel forced to do them.

I have never actively farmed renown and have pretty much everything maxed from juat playing the game. i have a friend that get motion sick and yet they also have max renown…at this point you have zero excuse other than you dont play the game.

cleared all raids some on mythic
do soloshuffle

so yes i play the game :slight_smile:

what part of Ion saying you do not need to touch renown do you not understand?

That is quite an ignorant thing to say to be fair. You do not know what difficulties people face from not being able to just use the normal flying in the game.
