This is the addon that talks to you like a satnav and tells you everything you need to know so you don’t have to look at anything except your obliterate keybind and the enemy health bar
This addon almost entirely removes any remaining potential to outplay people using class utility and orients arena even more into this cancerous dps-race pve gameplay design
There’s one Russian mage in particular who uses this addon and it’s disgustingly cringe queuing into him. He casts sheep on my healer and instantly cancels the second I place a warbanner down. It’s not him having super awareness, I’ve seen his stream. He just hears his addon scream War banner! at him and presses his stop casting keybind. Half the time my war banner’s aren’t even on his screen for him to see.
Works both ways too, as a Warrior it’d make it impossible for a shaman to ever pretremor any of my fears because i’d just hear Tremor Totem! in my ears and know to not press it

I don’t understand the hate for this addon. All bigger abilities have their own sound anyway like warbanner, bubble, bop, sac, warrior wall, cloak of shadows, ice block touch of karma, touch of death etc so if you play long enough you can distinguish one from another. Its not like this addon make you insta gladiator or anything.

I remember when I started arenas a guildie told me to get this add-on and I just deleted few moment after some arena, it was annoying and tbh it doesn’t help at all to get awarness and see in general what is going on.

Somewhat agree
I always kinda made fun of people who use it, especially if they enable abilities like “purge” in it. Never really saw it as a problem, but it does sometimes enable you to put even less thoughts into your gameplay.
I never liked that addon on people’s streams. How could someone play with that?

There are Weakauras that do pretty much the same, just put up a flashing Icon in your screen instead of shouting in your ear (although this can prob be added too…).
Shall we ban that too?

Idk feel like they need to make some animations more visable before removing stuff like gladiator lossa or omnibar. like seriously try to spot kidney shot animation

They should be listening out for the ingame audio queues, wings etc. War banner has its own unique sound effect too, they dont need a personal announcer giving it away 
If it were to leave, perhaps people would start sending stuff into reflect again instead of auto cancelling.
Well, it’s not like that I disagree, but it’s just another mimimi thread I guess because: aren’t you using any addons? Do you have weakauras or similiar? He could basically just do exactly the same with such addons. Or code an own addon with that stuff.
So you need to disable all addons, even macros since you could basically realize it with them too… Probably not for all spells (you don’t have enough space) but at least for the important onces!

Asking for what it says in the title. Gladiatorlosa is the biggest offender by far. How many people are going to spend hours, days or probably even weeks creating custom audio files and strings for all the spells in the game in weak auras?
People who play with gladiatorlosa are almost on the same level as people who get coached

Probably not that much! But an easy weakauras which shows him a big symbol when you use warbanner? Or a warnsound with text, or what ever makes it easy for him/her to realize… Probably most people who are using this addon right now. 
As I’ve said: I can totally understand why you dislike it, but it’s the same as I would start to cry about people who are using omni bar for having a cd overview (to know what the opponent team has ready (especially interrupt bar)) or DR tracker (gladius for example) → but even the blizzcon champions are playing with those in normal ladder enviroment.
P.S.: My post sounds like I’m defending and using it… I’m not because the sounds annoy me more than helping me!

Omnibar is as bad as gladiatorlossa imo but then I now rely on gladius to track DRs so could argue that is also as bad.
Lets face it; blizzards UI is crap for arena so you basically have to use addons
Omnibar is more less a must-have as a caster, though. You need to know these kick/gapcloser cooldowns to ever get anything off.

While I can see the comparison, I don’t think omnibar is even remotely close to being in the same league of autopilot as gladiatorLosa
This is just impossible imo to play without omnibar, even high rated player says it will help a lot during tournaments for example.
And y as a caster it’s easier to track kicks.
