Anyone know if the ring’s weekly upgrade system has some catch-up feature? Can we completely ignore this 
until 11.1.0 comes out and then do all the upgrades in a week to quickly get it over with?
Yeah i just got it as a random drop. I was expecting to do activities to fill a bar to get the item.
It has tons of affordable cosmetics and catch-up gear.
The island is so small and ugly with nothing but some good old weeklies and mindless elites roaming around. Classic blizzard ‘‘content’’. They do not even try, too many wow interations I guess

That honestly did make me laugh. “OK just in case you weren’t aware we timegated the story after a half hour quest chain (if you dragged it out), here’s a timer to REALLY let you know we’re timegating half hour quests for three weeks because… because… Well because we can basically.”
Remember. Holly will no doubtedly tell us “we’re learning from our mistakes” in the next PR guff video from management.

People expected to be Superman with this ring?
Because it´s a .0.7 patch.
The mere fact that we´re getting a new zone or new content AT ALL mid season was completely unheard of 4 years ago.
But because people can never be satisfied and /or need something to whine about, now that it’s becoming the norm they start to act like they should be somehow releasing the next raid and a .1-size new completely unheard of Zone in the middle of season 1.
And of course it has to all be gobbled up and completed only to never be touched again by suppertime, otherwise they´ll only get half a portion and potentially starve as a result 
Bottom line: some of us are glad to see anything at all, while for many of the rest anything less than Utopia is

Crazy that people think they were getting something more like it was a major patch. Probably read the “new zone” and though it would be amazing. Like a major patch.
This is The Forbidden Reach again. A “new” zone with a ring that was essentially bis for every spec except that patch was received well because “we don’t get new content with a 0.7 patch but now we did!”
I guess now people expect 0.7 patches to be like major patches and whine when it’s not. The WoW community in a nutshell

I they had their way, we´d get a new zone, raid, and 8 completely new never befre seen Dungeons every 3 months when they´re “done with gearing”, and every quest would drop full BiS so they never have to touch any of it ever again.
When in reality it´s bordering on insane to expect anythng even remotely close to that…

I’m not disappointed. As soon as I saw that this was originally supposed to be a BFA isle expedition map, I already let it all go 
Lazy/good-for-nothing left out.
They must be working hard on the legion meta achievement if they can’t do anything with the current content.

It’s really a reskin of Mechagon with the two alternate versions. This is including killing certain elites and only being able to open chests to loot certain keys in the storm version. The content is pretty much meh and seem to take a piece from most of the islands we have had so far. What makes the whole patch meh is it is pretty much a mobile style time gated hogwash mashed together.
I really can’t see Blizzard getting away with this format for very much longer.

People keep on paying for expansion and subscription and are ok when every new patch/expansion is meh is what worry me.
Can’ t be worse than the " event" right before TWW, that was really lazy and bad! 
for sure not worth to resub a month ahead or something.
They want stuff to play the game as little as possible but get everything they want within the least amount of times.

I ditched most of DF season 4 and pre patch and only came back a 1 month ago. So can’t really relate but I am going to take your word for it as I am ready to leave yet again.

Same here, I just finished KSM (on my previous fox resto shaman), I believe the portals were already obtained from other seasons. Normally I take a 3 month break, but I actually enjoyed Remix
The .0.7 Dragonflight patch had way more content than this one:

That had so many class/spec improvements, even some complete redesigns such as the really good Retribution one. It motivated me to try out a bunch of new specs and get them ready for the season 2 patch.
But this patch has no significant class/spec changes.
