My story starts a long while ago. Been looking forward to WoW classic for ages now.
I resub my account to book a name on Shazzrah because thats where my old Vanilla guild was gonna play. So i have paid for 2 weeks of game time because i wanted my name, which i dident get(because of queues). Now the queues are so terrible i cant even play with my friends or get onto the servers unless we log in at 8-10 in the morning.
ontop of that blizzard ask me to move to another server, but i already paid for 2 weeks just to keep my name on one server(Shouldent i have a refund of two weeks game time then?)
I would be happy with free server transfer, since my guild and friends are split on different servers and cant play together.
Dont come and tell me to reroll on another server, since the hole point of booking a name on a server two weeks prior to release and getting told to move to a new server is absurd, unfair and not very nice at all from Blizzard.

I know that Blizzard is concerned about long term state of the servers, but it seems that now, they are just waiting for queues to die off and they are not really dying off much.

I dont really care about my name anymore as long as i get the free transfer. I would be happy with any other name and no queue, and a place i could play with my friends and old guild.
The point of booking a name two weeks prio to release, paying for it and then getting told to move server is absurd?
but you got what you paid for, a name reservation on a realm, it is ultimately your choice to keep playing on it despite Blizzardâs efforts of urging players to play elsewhere.

Same thing that happens with regular transfers, you get a free rename too. I think your question had a pretty obvious answer.
Make a new name. Free transfer is a must at this point, even a blind person can see it.

free transfer this early in the games life, you must be having a laugh. why dont you all just reroll on another server with smaller queues. I didnt even bother trying to start of the server i was going to be playing on
Because I have already spent 65h into my character and I will be damned before I do another 30-43 SM grindâŚ
i have rerolled after spending 2days 15hours /played because of queues and beginning the grind all over again hoping for less queues and hopefully an active chat in every area

To be honest, I think they have to refund the time since the whole âlog into the game and reserve your name early onâ was completely misleading, especially since the community said from the very beginning that 2 servers wonât be enough. Unfortunately though, I also see that this refund will probably never happen, because Snowstorm have carefully prepared an escape route for themselves, i.e. you pay for the retail sub in order to be able to play classic.
I guess the best next step they can take is to open up 1 Spanish pvp and 1 Spanish pve server. They desperately want it, they definitely deserve it and I am sure they have enough people. At least that is my impression from information I received. Also it would take some pressure off of the currently existing servers. That they have not done this yet even though there are spanish servers on retail really surprises me.

I have characters on multiple servers. Why is it so hard to accept that people actually do what needs to be done instead of getting stuck and wallow in selfpity?

65 hours in 6 days. Thatâs over 10 hours a day⌠Why complain over queues then?
If itâs your friends you worry about not being able to log on be a friend and reroll. You have plenty of time apparently.
On a side note: 65 hours is nothing compared to the months you have ahead. Itâs out for 6 days⌠You can hardly call it a reroll.

Yeah you are right. Most people arenât donkeyâs. That is why most people are playing the game while the donkeyâs lock themselves up in endless queues.
If you donât have a clue, you are locked in the queue!

You keep trying to blame the players on a problem coused by Blizzard with a very simple solution. I donât know if you have an agenda, or are just absolute troll.
Iâm not TRYING anything. You people ARE the problem. Stop fooling yourself and admit that there is only one single person to blame for you sitting in an endless queue⌠and that person is YOU.
There is more than enough space for you to log on, create a character and jump into the game.
But you CHOSE to hang onto a character that is locked behind a massive queue.

I get very irritated by the many sjwâs who believe they have no responsibility for anything as long as they can pretend to be BUTTHURT by whatever is in fashion at the moment.
The only trolls here are the donkeyâs who lock themselves away in queues. The absolute donkeyâs that whine on the forum about their aweful (self inflicted) experience.
