I only tend to do five seeds per week as they give the main rep. Outside of that I don’t really see the point.

ED for me is better due to it being light and bright and by the time tanaan came around i was so fed up with fel green everywere 
I am not sure what ED is outside of getting renown and some purple seed mounts. While i think i still can go back to Zereth Mortis and have stuff to do

Also Zone feels like generic “forest zone”, I expected something more wild for the literal realm of primal life

Just like Zaralek Cavern and the Forbidden Reach, the Emerald Dream instantly bored me. Possibly the worst zone ever designed.

Anyone remember when the Emerald Dream was this badass untamed wilderness where only the druids could go because they could blend in? A savage place, with danger lurking in dark corners and eyes stalking your every move because a world untouched by civilisation isn’t your Auntie Gracy’s neatly kept garden, it’s a place that’ll grind you down to your core.

I feel you. I personally expected more of the emerald dream. More mysterious. Maybe kinda scary like in classic when you first walked into the felwoods. But its more of a slaughterfest with no danger. I have to admit… amirdrassil looks awesome. But the zone itself feels heartless

anyways back on topic , the zone could offer a lot more to do 4 dailies per day would be nice but i really like it for what it is bright and vibrant.
Antorus was the archetipe of despression. I have to say Emerald Dream zone isnt as good as i expected but compred to argus is icecrown.

I have to say thay I like ED way more than ZM.
The problem with the zone is that its quite small,cramped with trees not fit for the flying introduced this xpack and lack of anything worth doing.Planting seeds is fun for a bit,the big tree is no fun at all…and 6 q a reset is not enough.
But compared to Zm at least is beautiful.
The other end of xpack zones I played were better though.But never ZM.

People like to blame a forum mafia/illuminati/discord etc all the time instead of accept that five people felt their post was reportable. The post is reviewed by a moderator for action to be taken, so it’s not like the flagging is what gets something actioned. They also action unflagged posts.
I agree sometimes it’s used wrongly to downvote which is a waste of time and occasionally someone will mass flag with one account using alts.
But this topic should be about ED so I’m not going to comment further on how the forums work. If people want to discuss that they need to start a new topic.

TBF this is only a small part of the ED… and if you were going to plant your baby world tree somewhere and wanted it protected and safe you probably wouldnt pick the most dangerous part to plant it!
Thats probably why its fairly tranquil (other then the bits on fire!).
Also wouldnt we get another zone before expansion end??

You don’t remember the actual farm in MoP? Pulling weeds, planting seeds, doing chores for Tina and Gina Mudclaw to become their best friends? By comparison, the seed-planting here is a distraction, not a full-on attempt to test out a potential farming sim. I can live with the relative dearth of content here.
I’m also disappointed. It doesn’t look like the dream, really. There’s something profoundly wrong with the lighting as well - it looks bland and grey. The night isn’t dark, as usual. It has floating islands which it’s not supposed to have, that’s a fel thing, and it’s so crowded and busy with things that the swirling terrain doesn’t actually have room to manifest - literally.
You can’t dream your way in there in any way. There are no Barrow Dens or anything like that. In fact the only effort that was put into anything with /sleep is that if you use it in there you can walk a small distance from your body. I’m sorry that’s not what the lore says at all. Not even close.
No effort was put into fixing the 19 year old and still incomplete Druid quest line either.
It’s… moderately fun I suppose. But it’s a far cry from the Emerald Dream I hoped to play.
