Bots, Transfers, Spell Batching, Lack or no communication at all, PvP, Exploiters, Gold sellers, Content release Schedule, Chinese Black Lotus campers. Hands off approach.
This pretty much sums it up, Every day on our low pop server things are starting to look more grim, nothing is being done about it, the bots that where here at the start of Classic are still happily hopping around i have reported 100’s of times.
I was looking forward to AQ/Naxx, but i have no idea when it’s coming, and with the things i mentioned above i might as well just plain quit because i find no enjoyment anymore in the game because of said things.
I am hoping things will chance very soon, but with the way it is beieng handled right now, i don’t think it is.
Well I agree with you. No communication from Blizzard about current issues seems to be a poor community management. For me the biggest issues currently in classic are:
Bots/Gold-sellers left unpunished. Bots gathering consumables, hunter bots farming Dire Maul, Fishing bots in Azshara etc.
Lack of Content - people in classic are progressing through raids much faster than people in Vanilla. It seems strange to me that content is being released in a similar pace - people do not have much to do in game.
PvP System - people in classic tend to take Premading much more serious. 80% of the casual AB/Warsong games are full with premades making the casual PVP experience terrible. Premades should face other premades, large group of players should face other large group of players. Smaller groups should face smaller groups and so on. Does not seem to hard to implement?
I hope Blizzard starts caring a bit more about the community and classic.
I agree, Blizzard don’t seem to be punishing bots often enough.
You can’t really compare Vanilla with classic due to the timeframes involved. Can you imagine what would have happened if Blizzard did it at the same pace of patches as Vanilla? Classic is much faster than Vanilla ever was.
Imagine having a time machine that goes back to 60s.People behaviour was different though we go there and with our behaviour we act bad to all.Thats what happen in classic.Blizzard didnt do any prevention plan/method to make it closer to vanilla experiance. They just let the forest get fire and thats it.
It really feel like Blizzard is doing this on purpose to “force” us to be discouraged by Classic. So we may buy this Shadowlands expasion and play retail which is not going to be my case.
Do they? Will the majority of Classic players, play retail, if they quit Classic?
Personally, I never played past WotLK and have no intention to play Shadowlands. I did not start playing WoW again, after ~10 years. I started playing Classic.
What does it matter how slow or fast content is released? There’s always something to do. Or how fast other people have gotten through it? Have you done everything there is to do in Classic?
Autism isn’t a joke. Look at your communications skills. If Blizzard looked at your post what are they supposed to get out of it? You’ve used a developmental disorder as an insult and accused them of poor communication skills when you’ve given no specific issues or solutions. What do you expect out of Blizzard anyway? The game is a near recreation of the game from 15 years ago what is there to discuss? It sounds to me that you don’t like the game. Stop playing it and do something else.
Oh look at you, taking a joke the way only an autistic person could.
There’s criticism there if you’re willing to put in the effort. I want to give Blizzard my money, I like their game and the story they’ve created. But I also want them to start communicating with us. Give us a roadmap or some details of plans for Classic. Even just a list of options. I’m not unhappy with the game - I’m unhappy not knowing what the game’s going to become in 6 months.
The game isn’t new its a recreation of the vanilla game. It’s not a secret what’s coming. Phase 5 and phase 6 is coming. AQ20/40 and then Naxx. Blizzard let us know ahead of time when Phase 4 would be out. They might not know when they will release phase 5. Have you tried going on to the PRT to see what’s on it?
And after that? That’s what I’m talking about. We get the rest of vanilla content, then what? Do you know? No, because Blizzard hasn’t communicated anything. They’re 2/3 the way through getting this game to the point where it “ends” and they’ve given 0 indication of what happens after that. Do we prepare for new expansion content? Do they continue to release new content for Classic? Are they going to just leave the game as it is with minimal changes?
Stop pretending you know more than anybody else and accept the fact that Blizzard clearly has a problem communicating to its customers. Either that, or continue being autistic about it and focusing on the wrong things.
Where did you get the impression I said I thought I knew more than anyone else? Why are you so aggressive? I never said I did and I didn’t infer it at all. What makes you think Blizzard knows what they are going to do, yet? Should Blizzard tell everyone what they want to do only to risk disappointing everyone if they can’t pull it off? Blizzard might not know what they are going to do, yet. They may still be figuring out what is or isn’t possible. Blizzard not saying anything doesn’t mean they have everything figured out and they are just keeping it themselves, why would they do that?
That’s my point, again. Clearly Blizzard isn’t maliciously holding information from us, but the fact that we’ve heard basically nothing is a concern. They should tell us what’s on the table, what isn’t on the table, and what their requirements are. Nobody expects them to give us a detailed plan, but everybody should be expecting more than the pathetic amount (nothing) they’re giving us now.
Like I said, we’re 2/3s through the content by now. Blizzard either knows what plans are possible or they don’t know at all. I can’t decide which is worse.
