Obviously, I don’t care about world buffs as I only get onyxia/ZG(Undispellable)

I just laugh at the no lives spending their entire day dead, just to dispel a few people lol.
That’s why you never hearth back to Stormwind after getting dispellable buffs. I know you said you don’t get them, but I’m saying in general. Set hearthstone to Loch Modan or Westfall.
And yeah, love it or hate it, it is PVP and nothing should be done about it.

I can die to actual battles instead of somebody just staying dead and ressing just to dispel you XD.
Nothing can be done about it, but the main reason that they can dispel you is due to a third party addon that lets you see the world buffs.
Which is what the mage “detect magic” should be doing instead.

They don’t even ban bots often enough.

It’s easy to not get dispelled, I have a priest in stormwind, and it’s shocking to see how many people hsing with pvp tag and buffs.
Have hs in another town close go SW/IF. Fly to this city and you lost your tag, takes less than 5minutes and reduces your chance of getting dispelled.
If you enter a capital with tag and buffs, you never had em to begin with.
Any type of PvP outside battlegrounds can be portrayed as toxic because your enemy might not want to engage in PvP combat.
Lvl 60s killing level 30s in South shore takes no PvP skill but it’s allowed
40 man raid killing a single player silithius doesn’t sound much like PvP but is allowed.
Killing a player who is fighting an NPC doesn’t sound much like PvP but it’s allowed.
Killing a player whom you vastly outgear doesn’t seem like fair PvP but is allowed.
Getting ur buffs dispelled to make you weaker against your enemy doesn’t sound much like PvP but it is allowed.
Killing player repeatedly attacking them soon as they spawn with 50% hp and mana doesn’t seem like PvP but it is allowed.
Pretty much all PvP is toxic as it’s usually forced into a player but every player on the server knew what they were signing up for if you don’t like the danger of playing in a server where you have enemy players who will try to hinder you re-roll to a pve server.you cannot have a problem with a dispeller if you yourself have participated on any condition above.
I have a suggestion. Remove world buffs from the game.

I like option number 4. Haven’t been able to play my main in 24 hours because I’m saving the world buffs on him. Leveling an alt isn’t as fun as playing my main.
If all raid buffs were to be dropped upon entering a raid dungeon then a lot of pressure sure would go away.

Look. I undrstand griefing is allowed on PvP realms, that’s what we chose. But let’s not play pretend. Nobody dispells world buffs “to make you weaker against your enemy”, it is done purely to cause negative emotions because that player will do sub-par dps, place badly on the logs that week, and if he’s in a terrible guild even have less of a shot at gear that week. There is no PvP excuse at all. It’s pure griefing. You can grief, but don’t pretend there is a PvP layer to it.
so is killing a lvl 30 trying to do a quest. All pvp is griefing the other player nobody likes to die and spend 2 minutes running back to respawn PVP servers exist to grief the opposing faction. if you care so much about logs re roll on a pve server it is that simple
Yes. But nobody who is camping a lvl 30 is pretending he’s doing PvP, he outright says something like “yeah I’m camping him so that he brings some 60 friends and we can have a nice brawl”. Or maybe “my mom didn’t hug me enough as a kid, and now I have positive feedback loop from causing distress to others”
Yet with dispelling buffs there is this pretense of “it’s just PvP bro”. It’s doubly pathetic. The dispellers are griefing and they don’t even have the balls to admit it.
players kill other players because they know it griefs them they think its funny imagining that they are getting so angry. its funny when u kill someone and take their black lotus its the same as dispelling you might not like it but it is pvp. you can only get dispelled if you are pvp flagged there is ways to protect your buffs and to get this mad over losing some trivial buff to kill a boss that is trivial to kill without it is funny.
when i get my world buffs dispelled i know its my fault like group up wait somewhere to drop pvp flag before going to capital city or didn’t buy trash buffs or didn’t cc the enemy priest or shaman in time and kill them. if it bothers you so much they simply cannot do it to you on a pve server if you are so much into logs pve server is for you
I love it when I dispell a couple of people on my priest and people start rage pm-ing me on the server discord. Good times.

I agree to make all world buffs undispellable. Mostly because I feel it is time for Blizzard to make some meaningful change to the game.
This game, classic, is not the same game as vanilla. It is played entirely different. And #changes should therefore be welcomed.
Next change would be to delete all worldbuffs when entering an instance. Players have improved, right? Let them have it.
Best one is when you suddenly get invited to a group by some lvl 1 human warrior with random letters for a name after you get a dispell off.

No, it’s not smooth brained. It’s the same PvP as a group of 60s one-shotting a lvl 15 for hours on end. The aim of both is to have fun by pissing off enemy players, and then having even more fun reading salty threads like this one.
If people don’t want to be the butt of the joke, just choose a PvE server. I’m pretty happy with my carebear server. 99% of stupid crap just stops being a problem.
Seriously people, complaining about world buff dispellers on a PvP server is like diving into the rubbish bin and then complaining that rubbish stinks.
