DMF+Griefers+4Hour played cd. That’s it. Why is there a played cool down of 4 hours on DMF? People are actively griefing and you’re expected to just stay logged in for 4 hours so you can try again?

The same way the griefers are ignoring the event? This isn’t 2005 and people aren’t playing like it’s 2005. I raid a guild, and the guild expects me to show up with dmf. They added chronoboon for a reason. I think the reason also applies here.

Oh I dont care about them being there and “pvping”, It’s the 4 hour cool down that is frustrating.
but you do care about the pvp when the cd is 4h. It wont change, this is one of the reasons we have pve servers
nah. There’s ways around it. Again it’s the 4h cd. I’d also quit before playing on a pve server.
enjoy you 4h cd on a pvp server then =)

Well hopefully blizzard doesn’t share your opinion.
But the game is. I think they added that 4h as a penalty and to make it harder to get that big buff. I don’t think Blizzard knew that the community or certain guilds would turn that into a chore and a chore for their members. the problem is that players are making their own game suck. I wouldn’t mind removing the CD, but I can imagine why they added it originally
and if you are offline its a 8 hour cd.
The boon was introduced so people could actually play their chars and not have to log out for days when they have gathered their buffs.
You do care about them being there and pvping, you wouldnt be making this thread if you didnt care.

Imagine if you are bored and want to do some PvP you sign up for a bg.
wait for ZG buff when people are using Mind Control helmets to grief. There has been practically no buff pvp yet and some people camping DMF buff has already thrown you into a tizzy.
Grabbing a DMF buff wheter its in Goldshire or TB is quite easy, pre queue a bg and pop a LIP, use Nova World Buffs to grab the buff by your choosing on talk option.
The 4h CD exist for a reason. Without the CD people will just grab it and queue premade bgs with 10% dmg every BG.
My point is it could be a 4h cd without it being played cd. Also I’m surprised by the amount of people are just ok with griefing. I definitely think there’s a difference between actual pvp and camping an npc for days at a time. But if that’s the only accomplishment people have in this game and the only way they can get attention it makes sense you lot are for it.
You do realize that quiet a few of us at one point did think like you, but we have seen that there never is fair world pvp its all based around griefing someone, ether people griefe by camping low level areas to kill people who are questing or they roam around in bands and slaughter people who are out in the world, or people wait untill you are low on hp/mp and then engage. Being attacked when they have a chance to disrupt you gathering world buffs is no different than any of those examples.
If you like you said do like world pvp (or as you put it people pvping) then you like the possiblity of being grifed when you are out in the world. The only way to not have it be a possibilty that you will lose that or songflower or later the ZG buff is to play on a pve server. But you would never do that, im sure your guild understands that they are in fact on a pvp server and would ether come and help gather the buff (like how my guild did it in 2019 back before the boons were a thing) or they will understand that sometimes people wont be able to be fully world buffed.

Not true at all:smiling_face: in sod the cd is 10min and nobody went 10% buff every bg 
still waste of time to pick up dmf buff each bg abd you loose it in the begining of the game:sweat_smile:
