Do NOT abandon the VOID ELVES if you give us HIGH ELVES

I never thought I would actually have to say this, but:

If the devs do decide to release High Elves eventually, they better not just shelf Void elves and not give them the void-themed customization that so many of us are eagerly expecting!!

Void Elves have been out since Legion, a lot of us have grew so fond of them by now. They have a very special place in my heart. Please don’t forget about this side of the community in your attempts to please the High elf fans.

Void Elves should get their void-themed customization inc hairstyles and the voidy tattoos and jewellery we have wanted, and if High elves subsequently also come out as a separate race, they should absolutely have their own unique features as well, but nobody to each other’s expense. We all know very well such was the case with Kul’Tirans, Dark Iron and Mechagnomes where they were kind of forgotten, but Blizzard has no room to do this with Void Elves or High elves, the community support behind these is gigantic.

My 2 cents all

Wait what? We can have void Tattoos?

Why did I never notice this?? Where is my hairdresser /cosmetic surgeon?

BTW I agree… Though TBH I don´t think there are currently any plans to add High elves, as

  1. there are almost none left in lore, they all either have fins, a Mana addiction, or love tentacles more than they probably should. And
  2. anything you could realistically want in a high elf is available in either Void or Blood Elf customizazation for those that want to RP as one…

Cheers

Introducing void elves was an error

Retcon is needed and replacing them by high elves

anything you could realistically want in a high elf is available in either Void or Blood Elf customizazation for those that want to RP as one…

Entropic embrace, void elve tooltip

Then no its just an ersatz

I may turn purple from time to time, but you have actual issues. Your beloved Sunwell is just a poor excuse to not have to go to addiction counseling and rehab :beers:

The green orc’s drool doesnt hit the white noble elf. :man_elf: :dove:

I’m gonna be a dorf next expansion. Chunky and super good looking dorf.

We are the high elves and we need source of magic for our thirst.

We assume what we are.

We have the people, the city, the sunwell we are 15000, strong leaders

You re 1500 HE + 100 VE
No city
A rock lost in Space
Crazy leader hearing dark voices

Human paladin and mage as husband and half elf babies.

No more body and soul, you sold it to the void lords.

Sorry smurfette, you re in the wrong side.

Go back to home or you ll end like dodos, extinct :elf:

Btw the sunwell is arcane + light there is no issue to be addicted to the light

No, you WERE the high elves countless aeons ago. By that measure we are closer to still being high elves, because we only recently went off the rails, wheras you have decades of experinece doing so. The Sin’dorei have existed for much longer than the Ren’dorei have, and the fact is that neither of us have a legitimate claim to still be called Quel’dorei.

The primary difference between us is that we embrace this truth, while you continue to deny it.

You are now the Blood elves and you are addicted to mana so badly that you´ll gleefully suck it out of even the most innocent creatures just to to get a quick fix.

Hmm… You´re not exactly immune to that, either… I distinctly remember a certain member of the Sunstrider line almost damning the entire planet, just to sate your collective addiction to power.

And even your own “strong leaders” wouldn’t dare take one of you as a mate, too many issues.

Bottom line: You´re just as much of an abomination to elves as we are :beers:

(PS: This is the part where we start calling each other horrible names in thalassian, right? I forgot my script in teh Telogus Rift… :stuck_out_tongue: )

PPS:

I´m faily sure Illidan among others might disagree with you on that one … not that I personally value his opinion, but I do remember a certain Naaru that was “a bit” too juiced up on the light making a big mistake and getting turned back into the snowflake(s) he was…

I was assuming VELFs were getting more attention soon, not less.

If not TWW than definitely in Midnight.

I don’t think they will ever add high elves, partly because blood elves are high elves, partly because we have enough elf races and not enough customisation for said races, partly because you can already pose as a high elf through void elf customisation, but most importantly because the people asking for high elves are by far the most annoying part of the community and they should never be allowed to triumph.

High? Yes, most certainly. Quel’Dorei?, no :stuck_out_tongue:

void elves were a mistake do not crucify me for i speak truth in the following sentence, they should have introduces tmog purple guys instead of void elves which make no sense. Alleria didnt lead a void elf army unlike illidan. I didnt see any void elves prior to the argus patch that race felt forced and out of place

As much as some people either dont care for or actively routing against void elves, theyre the only void themed race in the game which makes them pretty special.
Theyre one of the more interesting races in the game, and one with a lot of room for growth and potential.

We have like 5 light themed races, only 1 void race.
They would be crazy to drop them.

I think the opposite is more likely to happen
your racial is void elf, your heritage set is void elf, your voice and death animation are void elf
high elf atm is a customization option for void elves

The light isn’t addictive like other forces of power are, what it is however is suggestive
it can play mindgames just as well the void, it just takes a different approach. That’s what it tried to do with Illidan, binding him to a fate through the power of suggestion and promises of a better holy existance he was destined to have, pretty promises to get people to fall in line, illidan didn’t fall for it and retaliated

proofs for the mindgames is mostly in the paladin talent of repentance, which is capable of forcing your target into a state of meditation (the tooltip explanation of what it actually does)

Sure, the most played allied race, which is a feat in and of itself. But ‘gigantic’ is a bit hyperbolic.

Honestly; I don’t like the void part of void elves. I’m someone who has always turned off all the voidy bits and gone for the ‘other’ customization.
I’d much rather have actual high elves on the alliance side. But we got what we got.

I want way more customization for ALL allied races - including void elves. They’re sorely lacking.
