Just don’t.
Blizzard may have become a money hungry company over the years, but do not fall prey to purchase anything in the store.
WoW has fallen flat over these last expanssions. By not purchasing anything you will state your point.
In time WoW may become a P2W, if we continue buying mounts and such from the store, and or general worse gameplay which is already taking place.

Fair enough, this makes sense.
Was this an epiphany?: curious, what is it exactly that prompted you to create this thread?
Just noticed that blizzard announced a 12 month subscription, that includes a new mount, a fairly unique mount. But the only way to get that mount is thru real money.

I agree with the sentiment, but you can’t fight evil corps by voting with your wallet, that’s their turf.
The only way is…
revolution!

Oh, okay.
About 2 hours ago, when I was about to log in, I saw the promotion for the 12-month subscription on the Battle net launcher so I bought it.
And if I’m being honest. even if I had seen your thread beforehand I would have still bought it.

Well if you intend to stay strong and play for 12 months go ahead, but in reality blizzard are doing this to pull players in. Especially amongst collectors.

For people who plan to already play all of DF it’s cheaper to get this than buying 1 month at a time.
But it’s only worth it if you know you won’t take a single break.
What on earth is driving people to tell me what I should be spending my money on today? I will use the ingame store if I please thank you very much. And I will also buy mounts on the store that I like…I don’t need your permission for this. Not even my moms permission at my age…

It’s really only worth it if you consider a butt ugly murloc whale to be more valuable than your moral system.
Which if it does, okay weird flex?

Ok now I’m going to go buy something off it just to annoy you
Nah not really, nothing I want but telling people not to do something just makes us want to do it more!

though if you do actively buy mounts on a regular bases at those prices…
i probably would recommend speaking to your mum about it to see what she has to say .

I think she would prefer me spending 25 euro’s on a mount every few months over going out and spending over 100 euro’s on cocktails every weekend

i dunno cocktails can be a good way to socialise and meet new people.
mounts are nothing but a ego thing imo…
watch me ride it around the city because i can afford it…
then forget it exists when i buy the next one and start riding that instead.

Has nothing to do with ego for me. I just like the way they look therefore I buy them.
