I am new to WoW. Thought I’d get involved with classic since everyone starts on a level enough footing and I don’t have loads of catching up to do. (Well maybe only in skills and knowledge of the game.
Anyway, do people use headsets to talk to each other when communicating in party with strangers or is it mainly text chat?

i have never encountered anyone in party chat. text chat dominates i suppose.
however, i use the function sometimes while questing or doing a dungeon with a friend if we re not using discord or anything like that. 
then its obviously obsolete.
As someone coming from playing competitive games like CS:GO and Overwatch for the past few years I’m used to voice chatting whenever possible, and I did notice this feature on WoW so I have notified party about it and used it a couple times and yeah it works great, just like being on discord, so well done Blizz, I enjoy this feature.
