Do the devs hate Void Elves?

All Legion Allied Races got a LOT of new Customization in Shadowlands, OTHER than Void Elves. Void Elves specifically got hair colours and a tentacle toggle that left some hairstyles looking broken.

Nightborne, LFD, and HMT all got new hairstyles, tattoos, and jewellery. Void Elves got none of that.

Void Elves also share the exact same models and animations with Blood Elves but never shared all the same classes as Blood Elves. They could have made Void Elf Paladins work with the appropriate lore and a visual glyph. They even added a Void Elf Paladin in TWW in Telogrus Rift as an NPC.

These things should have been added years ago. As a Void Elf main, the lack of customization and attention to our Void Elf characters themselves impacted my enjoyment of the game and lead to many breaks in subscriptions.

As a Void Elf main I feel betrayed and disappointed. I do not feel valued or heard, I feel ignored instead. Customization for both Void Elves and Blood Elves should have been a selling point of Midnight and should have been part of the reveal.

Finally, Void Elves should have their own hub, especially since Silvermoon is about to be the main hub for Midnight and the Alliance is not welcomed there. We should have a Void Elf hub in an expanded and developed Telogrus Rift where the Alliance would have been WELCOMED.

Void Elves could be so much more.

All allied races are severely lacking in character customization, with the one exception being Earthen.

If you don’t believe me look it up. Void Elves were released even earlier than some Legion Allied Races. Still with 10 hairstyles. Go compare Nightborne and LFD and HMT if you don’t believe me.

I’m not saying void elves aren’t lacking customization.
I’m just saying that ALL allied races are. :dracthyr_shrug:

All of them, with the exception of Earthen, should get more.
That includes void elves.

Think of who? My thread is obviously about Void Elves. They are the most popular of the Allied Races and still with 10 hairstyles.

I would love to see more customizations for Void elves. I have been playing one since the launch of the race, the hairstyles are getting a bit old at this point.
With all the amazing concept art people make on the Internet, Blizzard should have a good idea of what they could give to this race.

In general wow is severely lacking customizations. Compairing with a lot of games the dress room (hair\beard\face\nose usw) is very limitated.
Dunno why devs never enhanced this aspect.

They should add the High Elves first and then make all the hairstyles, jewelry, and hair colors common to all three groups of elves!

It’s a lot of things it’s also lack of sufficient lore, lack of development of Telogrus Rift, and ofcourse feeling ignored in the customization department. I understand all races need work, but i really hoped for a customization reveal in Midnight at the latest.

I’m definitely going to level a Void elf DH. Or race change the one I played during Legion that is in the dust!
Still, more customizations are wanted. And ofc not only for Void elves but since I only play this Allied race I feel more invested in them :dracthyr_sweat:

Haha I do have quite a few friends who were hoping for High Elves, so I will not. But I don’t see why they could not at least add a High Elf toggle on the nameframes and appropriate lore for High Elves to be included and represented along with the rest of the Thalassian elves. Midnight has left us all wanting!
