It’s been several days now, and they haven’t said ANYTHING about customization for existing races :woman_facepalming:t3:

I know it just sucks. I suspect there are some people in the dev team who just don’t care about character customization for existing races.

Of course, this is more complicated than changing the color of mounts and transmog and presenting it as new content :grimacing:

I would love more customisation and stuff, but right now im just happy that void elves are finally getting a real place in the story.
They were used in 11.2 and they are being used again in 12.0
Its great to have plot relevance

Hard agree.
The current word is the alliance will only be allowed in a small part of silvermoon.
The horde get a giant beautiful city for their hub and our hub is a little corner of it, thats shared with the horde.
Kinda makes me not want to buy the expansion at all.

Well the elven reunion was nothing but a lie. Chris metzen got big fat pay check to hype and lie.

Im just want my elfs to be more of the Light side and Arcane than corrupted void as the Alliance is all about. Have always been. But go ahead Blizzard, GO AHEAD and destroy ā€œthe Allianceā€ forever and make them all ā€œVoid zealotsā€. Go ahead and destroy 30 years of Warcraft lore. Go ahead and Turn HORDE to ā€œRed Allianceā€ and Alliance to the next Legion. Destroying the Horde at the same time, why they are called ā€œthe Hordeā€ in the first place.

They are so ā€œHorde biasā€ makes one wanna puke. 20 years of waiting and they shown their colors. They are Horde bias, will always be Horde Bias since vanilla and still be Horde bias for the next 20 years.

A lone Kul’tiran enters this tread.
Looks at their customization options and quietly leaves sobbing .

You think you have it bad ? Try a Kul’tiran and than tell me how 6 hairstyles , 7 faces and 4 beards are a lot .

You at least have like 20 faces and void tentacles .
I will agree though , that I don’t really understand why the blood elf customizations are not shared with void elves .

Kul Tiras have pretty awesome customization options.

The root problem of Void Elves is that we wanted High Elves.

Blizzard then tried to compromise and pander to all fanbases, leaving all disappointed.

High Elf fans don’t feel represented in a juice-colored character.

Similarly, Void Elf fans don’t like that Blizzard spent more time developing High Elf options as opposed to more Voidy options like more tentacle hair.

Care to elaborate where they are ? Or is my character creation screen showing something else than you ?

Sure.

  • Cool hair options
  • Cool beard options
  • Cool jewelry for the females

You might dislike them, but let’s not act like they’re running low on customization options when they’ve got like 6 different necklace and earring models.

Did we not follow around an alliance elve the whole expansion and the alliance king and that half human woman?
Thrall was at the opening of the expansion he is on the loading screen and he just vanished.

And how do you know the elven reunification was a lie?

We know next to nothing about what will happen in midnight

Customization Void Elf Male Kul’Tiran Male Void Elf Female Kul’Tiran Female
Skin Color 21 6 21 6
Face 18 7 18 7
Hair Style 13 6 11 10
Hair Color 16 13 16 13
Facial hair /Earings 8 4 mustache + 6 beards 5 7 necklace + 7 earrings
Eye Color 9 6 9 6

The only place void elves are slightly behind is the beards/ earrings .
Everything else Kultirans have half or sometimes more than 3 times less than Void elves .

So yea .

Don’t get distracted and continue to serve your orc masters

Screw Void Elf Paladins! Let them be VOID KNIGHTS!

You need to substract the ā€œnormalā€ skin tones, though, Those weren’t added for Void Elves but for those who always wanted to play their void elves as high elves.

I’m happy for the Horde getting a lovely revamped Quel’Thalas and this would never have been an issue if Blizzard did not do half-jobs. Telogrus Rift is still some rocks in space with tents. Give us Void Elf and Blood Elf customizations, especially new hairstyles for Void Elves, and develop Telogrus Rift into an Alliance hub with inns, flight points, trainers etc. And don’t forget the cosmic void forests.

Remember one thing. Even if the entirety of Silvermoon was made available to the Alliance, I and some others I know would NEVER stop asking for the development of Telogrus Rift. That place is just beautiful and mysterious and deserves a lot more development.

The problem is that Kul’Tirans aren’t that popular and Void Elves who are the most popular Allied Race are being compared with them. Yes the Kul’Tirans deserve more, but giving hairstyles and starcursed hair and tattoos to Void Elves will have a HUGE impact. For the record I favour new hairstyles for Void Elves and no more copy pasta, but I would not mind some Drakthyr hairstyles to be ported over.

you though you had it bad at lest orc got posture corrections meanwhile night elf male didn’t get smack.

head still not fixed since wod.

One problem with that is the body selection. Blizzard have not unlock the skins from the body 1-8 of Void elves so they are identical so the result is wrong.

If they unlocked the skins from 1-8 then tha number be lower and so would the combinations of customizations for void elves be.

If you look at number 1 body looks the same as number 9 body. Body 2 looks the same as body 10 and so on and so on. If they unlock the skins it there only be like 10 bodies to choose from.

They done it for all other races, except for the void elves.

But you guys wanted to look like High Elves, and you were given that option with skin and eye colors. What else do you need?
