how are you expecting non WoW players to join WoW ,
when they see a multitude of addons and pop ups and ,clown horn sounds on the screen
have you ever thought about the lasting impact it has on us gaining new players.
its hectic,
- non WoW Gamers look at this and think its a mess or CBA
if you cared for the health of the game you put aside your silly point of view. Blizzard are doing whats in the best interest for the game going forward.
eventually the player population dwindles , us boomers that have been here for 20+ years will stop playing at some point.
Blizzard are FULLY aware they need to change it now, before it gets out of hand.
Those 3rd party devs have been saving the game for 20 years. If I were confident that Blizzard could do the job themselves we wouldnt be having this conversation.
And for the 1000th time I am not against Blizzard improving the base game to the point addons arent needed. I am against cutting their lifeline before they have a working replacement.

people have great faith in that blizzard will simplefy the game after the removal of addons.
I am not that sure they will.
I looked around a bit what current blizz stuff does.
Im not concerned. It is just less adjustable, but the new stuff can do everything I want. That adjustment comes from blizz later or from cosmetic addons that will work (eventually, at least).
The addon nuke is fine as far as I can tell.
Idk, this argument gets thrown around a lot. I havent have issues with recruiting people to the game even after they see my UI (literally have copywrited music playing on my WAs). My problem has been keeping them into the game.
Eventually wont cut it they need to work from launch players wont wait around for them

and every time some thing big comes to the game. there is DOOMERS
your moaning wont change whats coming its already in effect. its happening.

Not how it works chief. Blizzard is is absolutely in their right to do with the game as they want, but players are also in their right to not give them money and not play their game. So no we dont get āon board and ride with itā, we will see what changes are made and decide if we want to continue or move on. And same thing did happen in SL, where a huge portion of the playerbase left. Hope its not the case this time.
And since you missed it last time. No one here is arguing to not implement addons into the game, all we are asking is to not ban the addons right away. If Blizzard can implement intuative mechanics that are also complex, people wont use addons for them anyway. You literraly have to go out of your way to import/create a WA.

Trying and seeing are 2 different things. I can see that currently this is going to backfire, I try to gove my feedback, which currently is do not ban the addons just yet. I do not need to try it to know that its going to fail. That being said IF I see a possitive change I would reconsider my stance, however like I have discused this multiple times I am not seeing A) Blizzard adressing these issue beyond ālol easier classes and easier mechanicsā (something I dont want) and B) actually usable versions of these addons in game.

are you giving feedback on an assumption ? or have you actually tried the alpha?
you are kinda contricting yourself when you say the following
you either have tested it, and CAN provide feedback

you are speculating on an assumption.
the game is dead compae to cataclysm , far more dead than you think the problem with ppl like you is that you think dead means server shutdown and refunds ā¦ nono thats not what dead means , dead means you have screwed up so hard to the point that your numbers have shrink down to all time low ! which it is all time low atm as of me writing this comment even with legion remix being around , cut that and mop and classic of , retail numbers are down server shutdown territory

you dont need to personally try the alpha out just to see how half completed the blizzard version of the so called ( NEW BUILT IN UI ) is , it lacks so many things and im about 99.9% sure they will fall short in terms of delivery , they always do ā¦ at the start of each expansion big talks and then once it goes live no delivery just bugs and half cooked product

To be clear, I said eventually because to my understanding currently in alpha basically everything is broken(?). They nuke everything and then pull back, hopefully for release. That is the āeventuallyā.
I expect all truly necessary cosmetic addons work on launch.
And I dont even need those. I looked the already available stuff in retail and it already does stuff I need. At least stuff I quickly checked.

Tested what? Things that dont exist? Like I said about 10 times now, Blizzard are not addressing key features addons provided that have been broken since day 1.

Sure, you know whatās being served, but you have no idea how it tastes, how itās cooked, or how the experience actually feels until you try it yourself.

Not really. I am not an expert cook or anything so I cannot make educated guess on food. However I am well experienced in this game since I have been playing it for over 20 years. And with experience comes knowledge on what the pain points amd issues are, and when I see Blizzard not addressing them but meanwhile ripping off the band aidā¦ You dont really need to be part of the train wreck in order to see it.
no im just stating the facts not speaking for anyone , certainly not you ā¦ those are facts like em or not they did the same thing in the past and received the exact same negative feedback followed the innevatible drop of playerbase which is a natural response of arrogancy . thats not how you sell a prodcut
