I only play one single character, and in dragonflight, I will only play invoker. (Idk yet, if I play it though, because of how bad shadowlands was)

Why?

Only joking just reminds me of that Disney Toontown game everytime someone calls their characters a toon haha
I have an alt of every class but I pretty much ignore them until the end of an expansion. I always play my main. By the time I do get round to playing alts, thereâs no point gearing them because the new expansion is out and Iâve returned to my main.
We were calling our characters Toons back in Vanilla. Thatâs the only place I know that word from.
I have 47 alts right now, level breakdown below:
- 1 alt levels 1-9
- 4 alts levels 10-19
- 9 alts levels 20-29
- 14 alts levels 30-39
- 12 alts levels 40-49
- 4 alts levels 50-59
- 3 alts level 60
nothing you listed is required for playing your alts
source ? i have 13 alts with aveagre itlv 271.
all i did was literaly 1 m+ a week on them . sometimes 4 on 1 or 2 chars if i had spare time and wanted to push score.
people who complain about alts dont play this game at all
k lol i just stated what i was using my alts for, wasnt trying to argue - it does consume some time if you want to keep them endlessly doing missions for gold
so dont ? /char
Well thatâs pretty much what I was saying in the OP by stating I will play 1 character now and a druid for gathering and such but you seem to want to be disingenuous and make arguments where there doesnt need to be
I have 10 alts but only levelled 8 this expansion. I focused on my main and passively levelled up and geared the others. Same for Torghast and the followers, passively did it. Some donât even have all 22. I mainly use them for the gold by doing the daily emissary quests. If I have time I focus on the Maw Assaultsâ, Korthia and ZM - i see those as bonus gold and not a priority.
I usually main one character however just before new expansions I usually level and gear out multiple characters that I think might fancy my interest in the next expansion. So even right now while most of my energy goes into my warlock I also have shaman, death knight, hunter and mage on 60 and demon hunter and warrior nearly at 60. So when we get the new talent trees I can choose which character I would probably like to play the most in dragonflight.
I have 50 alts around 38 of them max level I think and the rest 50 lvl and and above. I log them daily for mission tables or mount farms. When I get a new pc Iâm considering setting up to 250 alts in order to farm mounts. And you know what the saddest part is? Even with 250 alts you might still not get the big love rocket when itâs up. Iâm hoping to reach top 100 mount collectors one day. Currently in top 1000
In season 1 i leveled all classes to 60 so i had them available.
Then i start gearing my main, and whenever i hit a point where i canât just perma farm gear, i move on to the next character.
I then have a main, main alts and alts and i treat them a bit differently.
Main is of course focus, but it will usually be gear capped so there is not much to do unless i push.
Main alts i will try and farm some gear from m+ on and get at least 1 15 every week, and maybe 4 or 8 depending on how much time i have to play.
For alts, the rest, i farm worldboss and worldquests in ZM (if itâs an upgrade), basically investing 15-20 min a week to get some pieces if i wanna start that character up.
Currently my main is warlock, gear capped (except weekly chest). Then warrior, hunter, DK, DH are main alts which i am doing weekly keys on. Lastly rest of classes are just alts.
I do somewhat push on my main alts aswell, mostly with friends if i cba playing lock or we have one, so my top warlock, warrior and hunter are all 3k+, and DK is 2500 with 6 dungeons missing.
Thatâs how i work my alts.
I have 17 level 60s. Which sounds insane even to me. It definitely would have sounded insane to me back in Mists. How can anybdy even do that?
My Mage and my Paladin are âmy two charactersâ. I dinged them on the same day when I started in Cata, and I have levelled them together, close enough, ever since. I log both of them every day.
I added a Priest and a Hunter in the long. long 5.4. My Hunter enjoyed Timeless with my Mage and my Paladin, but my poor Priest was a bit of a disappointment, and was retasked as a banker.
Legion was the change. I decided to level all classes to do the class campaigns and get the mounts and pets and stuff.
Then I wanted to try life Horde-side, so while waiting for BfA, I made a Mage and a Paladin on Draenor.
When it became known that DHs were going to be relegated to start from Level 1, I made three more of those on three different realms to collect some gold to buy pets I could flip between realms. Since they started at Legion-level, bringing them up was short enough.
And thatâs how I got to 17 max-level characters.
But I certainly wouldnât claim to play them all. My Mage and my Paladin are still âmy two charactersâ. I can use the others to farm. Otherwise, they can just rest at the Inn.
In retail I have 3 servers full of characters, donât have a main one anymore. In classic, I have server full of horde characters in Pyrewood and server full of alliance in mirage
No, I am not an altoholic
