Do you have to RP on Argent Dawn?

On that, we can agree.

You’d have to personally pay me to do it but I wouldn’t mind if people were doing it for free. I’ve played on RP servers with people who do exactly that and have had very few bad experiences with it. You get one or two people who go mad with power but that’s a situation that resolves itself.

From what I can see the people who don’t want moderation in WoW are the ones who either participate or are content with ERP and don’t want people being able to read their logs / see what weird stuff they’re doing.

I would be a happy man if Blizzard cared about RPers but that is seldom the case.

Zaphius. I am right about everything.
You are wrong.

This thread has been going on way too long. At this point you should settle it with like a Yu-Gi-Oh duel or something.

Damn, someone saying “I am right because I’m a dude on the internet with an opinion”. No one who ever said this could possibly be wrong about something huh.

Will y’all shut the fudge up, making petty jabs at each other?

OP ain’t coming to Argent Dawn. The argument has been done to death.

By your standard right here, only I get to add to the list of qualifiers.

The discussion has moved on since then as discussions tend to.

I’ve only just involved myself and I’m enjoying it so I’ll continue until I’m bored or find something better.

Can someone at least stream the Yu-Gi-Oh duel?

Would rather a Mario Kart cup.

A case of Crying Wolf? Or GM apathy to an issue they don’t consider a problem?
I think it’s a mix of both. RPers are a small minority even on their own servers (sadly). Though I do bet our reports make a higher proportion of things they receive from our server than anything else.
This could probably have the negative effect long term of making the average roleplayer look whiny and entitled, at least from an outsider perspective. Either way it does nothing to help us or them.

Ah, the classic “let’s quote out of context” to get a “no, you” moment that would have sounded brilliant in 2011. Maybe.

In fact, I never give out any arguments as to why my position may be correct and the other wrong.

As long as we are both aware that the standards you add or remove don’t have any intersubjective validity. It’s kind of the point.

Pretty much. I agree.

I’m just objectively correct, no more, no less.

Anyone who claims to be objective is not though.
