I do, will i be hated for saying i miss the command table? I used to farm easy gold and some free mats etc from it. Do any of you miss the old command table?

I don’t miss it, but I didn’t hate it, nor do I hold a grudge towards people that want it.
It was a nice, optional way to get some gold. In Legion, it was an overkill (you had to do it, and if you missed out, you were just dumb), but in BFA & SL it was quite optional, yet very profitable if you knew what to do.

Yes, like it or not the command table did add another aspect to the game. It wasn’t just the gold potential. You had gear, toys, reputation tokens, gear to upgrade your own personal army of companions, materials and dungeon quests.
I’m sure I’ve not mentioned everything.

It was trash content, good riddance if I’m honest.
It was also an ATM for people that played in WoD. That screw up has left the game with have’s and have not’s because of the millions of gold the game injected into the game then.
If the game is to give gear / toys etc, it should be from playing out in the world, not on some garbo table.

It was an interesting feature just from a variety perspective, but it grew old being included in every recent expansions. I am fine with it being an occasional returning feature.

I’m glad it’s gone.
That thing kept injecting gold into the economy. A lot. It was a huge source of gold. And not just the first one flight that one was the worst.
And because of this the game had to make it harder to get gold elsewhere - or the prices would rise. And then people were playing these tables not on one character, but on 6 characters all from their phone. It was just crazy how much gold you could make not even playing the game. And this wasn’t just the WoD one though the WoD one was the most egregious.
So for someone like me, who wants to just walk away from WoW when I’mm not playing it, this presents a problem. I either have to accept being tethered to this blasted game in my phone all the time, or I have to buy tokens.
In Dragonflight I can just not do that and it’ll all be fine. I can just log in, play it, and get enough gold. And that’s good because I really REALLY hate buying gold.

I actually still use it in the SL bit, not for gold but for the pet polished charms to level up the pets to 25 - quite useful as have so many resources across multiple alts, a way of using it up etc
Not really it was cool and ok when they release it but now is nothing special
I miss the gold just not logging in on my army alts 24/7.
I liked it for as long as it needed to last.
I hated it when I became depended on it (for gold, items, etc).

Kinda miss it I would just use the companion app and get missions done while I sleep, ez money
Been playing Solasta Crown of the Magister recently and I like the idea of this system where a bunch of dudes (like with the command table) would go out to the places you´ve visited and collect loot for you that they find.
That would be cool if they go back to the command table again.
A bit conflicted about it. I always used the command table. But i am not disliking it the shadowlands version of the command table is gone.
I do think we need more gold and reagents making things right now though. I am losing quite a lot of gold now since there is no gold source at all anymore. Not only the command table is gone but there are also no emissaries. Even the ‘weekly’ does not reward gold anymore. I would not be surprised to need to buy tokens for being able to continue playing the game. Since also by the duck up of professions there is no way to be self sufficient now.
That gold only created inflation, which caused some overrated mounts like AH mount and overpriced ugly mounts and other cosmetics. You were gaining nothing but exploitation from people who earned it with their skills, hands and keyboards.
BfA command table was good but I don’t miss Shadowlands one.
Players needs to understand how horrible lazy it is sitting on a chair not even wanting to go outside in the world, not even in the game.
What’s next, does our champions have wheelchair race?
Love the WoD one. Not the others.
Really like collecting little champions out in the world. Sending them on missions, watching them grow and mingle at the garrison inn. Scolding them for failing a mission at 95%.
I also never felt the need to min/max them as gold farms on every alt.
