Does the Classic Name Change work on Classic Anniversary server characters? I’ve never bought any character services before and wish to change the name of a couple of my characters on the EU Anniversary server. Am I able to do this in any way? the quotes below suggest that the token will work, as Classic Anniversary is a progression based server but, the actual name of the token is “WoW MoP Classic” “Classic Name Change”, so I’m a little reluctant to purchase until I have better clarity on my purchase.
If I do buy it, am I able to get a refund if it doesn’t work on my Non era server, using my example above?

No this will not work for Anniversary.
Classic have no services such as Name change, Faction change, Character transfer (except for free transfer on a few realms), so that is a retail only thing.
You should be able to get a refund if you already bought it.
If this is the case, and I’m not doubting you, just clarity, what does this refer to?:

Edit: it feels like there are so many versions of the game that each should be mentioned, rather than a small statement that could be misunderstood imho.

Classic Progression is Classic Pandaria.
If you want name change service, ask in Trade for reports. Free of charge.
So not on Anniversary that will have its “progression” onto TBC? It just doesn’t seem right as written.
Note: I’m Dyslexic which may be why I’m having the issue here, as my logic of how I read this suggests I can, though it may not be the case.
I’m pretty sure that Anniversary does not have name change available right now. They should have mentioned it in the shop webpage, of course.

Tried to open a Ticket in game but I just get a black “Customer Support” screen. 
Delete character, wait 1 month, after that your name will be free for character creation on other accounts. Ask your friend to create charactyer with same name, then restore your character, and you will be flagged for rename. It is the only way to do it right now. (also can try to do it with mass reports if you want, but it’s on your own risk)
