Does WoW have an end?

Does WoW have an end? Simple question but no true answer.Right?
For you what do u think is the end
hiting 120
doing all achieves
best in slot gear
all mounts
all of the above?
But then what>?
I would love to hear ur replies

Nope, any game where you can farm gold & get balance for their app, you can literally play this game infinitely

like if you dont have a job but want games you can literally farm gold in wow & buy some other blizzard games

I would have to run out of things that interested me, then I would stop playing until the next expansion.

However there are usually things I do daily/weekly and then eventually I get spare time to go and do faffing about. I love doing that.

I suppose the theoretical completion of the game would be, all quests, all items, all pets, all mounts, all achievements, all reps, maxed out everything.

But that will never happen for anyone.

Yeah prob never will coz alot of achieves and mounts arent gettable now
and even if it does that will be a massive time investment and for no real reason

Then you boost people…

It has an end. No one will reach it. There’s simply not enough time to finish the game, even if you play 24/7.

Which means, it all comes down to what goals people set for themselves and whether they get to finish it before new content arrives or not.

The end will be when the cost of maintaining the game for blizzard exceeds the revenue it generates and they don’t make profit anymore. They’ll keep flogging the horse till then.

It ended in cataclysm, deathwing won and we’re all just lost spirits seeing a false world.

With the gearing system and titanforging it definitely doesn’t have an end.
That’s part of what puts me off current WoW, I like to have a goal for gearing and set out to get certain items.

I thought it ended with wolk

Awesomeness has no end…more awesome to be delivered in The Shadowlands.
WoW is both awesome and shiny… it also contains a Bee mount for added awesome, if you are in the Faction that has slightly less awesomeness than The HORDE.

It is removed in 8.3 patch (2 weeks from now).

I don’t think I will ever reach a stage where I want to do that

Every good thing has an ending and so does WoW, but I don’t see it happening any time soon. I believe the end of WoW will happen when there are no more players. It starts with the lack of new content / expansion / patches and then slowly waiting for the last player to leave and turn off the lights on his way out.

I just hope it is not anything like this:

I never played in Nostalrius but that still gives a very sad and empty feeling at the end

I believe it ends with the eventual heat-death of the universe, when all atoms have drifted out of interaction range of all other atoms, and no radiation can be detected.
