Don’t Turn Alleria Evil

Hmmm for once we actually agree.

Join the Kirin Tor sister

Don’t bring that up as neutrality barometer, when talking to Blood Elf

Let’s be honest here the Kirin Tor didn’t do much to the Blood elves aside from Jaina. It was really the Silver covenant doing most of the work.
High elves VS Blood elves. The kind of fights we see here on the forums

Now let’s keep the topic on Alleria

For all that is holy.

Yes, yes kill all the Windrunner sisters. Sylvanas, Vereesa and Alleria. They are traitors to their people, completely unstable and just overall terrible characters at this point.

Their characters being killed off is a mercy… to the playerbase, they are all horrendous.

I think most people -would- consider torture to be unorthodox. Which is cool. Still Evil though. I mean is there ‘Good’ Torture? Outside of certain BDSM nightclubs.

Yes they have. So it is the opposite of ‘good’ yes?

What, they are supposed to be constantly nervous like long tailed cats in a room full of rocking chairs? constantly anxious about life? Scared of loud noises? Biting their nails and tugging out their hair because of anxiety?

That is what ‘Edgy’ means.

The Linguist in me constantly get’s riled, when people use words like ‘Cringe’ or ‘Edgy’ incorrectly.
Void Elves don’t seem to be Edgy at all, they’re not scared or nervous, they instead seem to be able to master and control their powers. They may indeed be borderline insane, because they do constantly hear whispers telling them lies and things that could turn them against others, but that more just makes them like Schizophrenics (Using the correct medical term). They’re not Edgy at all, none of them seem nervous, or agitated, they just have a very tenuous grasp on reality…

Yet.

It has already told her lies, and given her delusions.

And she basically ate a Dark Naaru, which is a heck more than any other Void Elf did, who were -all- results of a magical experiment went wrong.
Because there are no ‘new’ Void Elves. She is unique.

Nobody knows how to make new Void Elves, apart from Locus Walker who can try to replicate the Alleria Method, if somehow he can find a Dark Naaru, then after a thousand years of teaching, he could create precisely one more Void Elf like Alleria.

Unfortunately we only know of one extant Naaru, which is A’dal, who is not a dark Naaru.

So currently, in lore, there is no way to create new Void Elves.

If Locus Walker -did- want to go and try and turn A’dal ‘bad’ (Not sure how that would work, read it Chuck Tingle novels?) then the Void Elves would find themselves at war with the Scryers and the Aldor, and by extension the Horde -and- the Alliance. So it would not end terribly well.

lorewise, there are no new Void Elves. There are people studying the Void, which means nothing. I can study bees, it doesn’t mean I want, or can become a bee.

The Blood Elf skins for Void Elves just means that some were effected in different ways, that is all, there is no Lore explanation.

This said, the game would be better if all three Windrunner sisters were just killed off, so that there are no more horrible awkward self inserts, or windrunner sisters being invented out of nowhere (Vereesa) or hackneyed copies of Aragorn and Arwen (Alleria and Turalyon)

Just End them.

He actually warned her about Sylvanas betrayal.

“This one is dangerous. She is a threat and must be ended. Beware this one. She seeks the death of all. End her threat. Murder her”

If Alleria actually listened to the Void, we wouldn’t have a Shadowlands expansion

That’s because the belf skins are supposed to be a High elf customizations.

Is there lore reasons for Darkspear getting Sand troll and Dark troll skins?

Is there lore reasons for Bronzebeard dwarves getting Wildhammer stuff?

Blizzard has explained they just wanted more freedom when it came to customization so that YOU as a player can choose your own story.

You said it. And in Telogrus rift we do see Locus Walker teaching High elves the ways of the Void. When you click on him he says he is happy and surprised that Alleria’s people want to follow in her foot steps. Blizzard didn’t add this for decorations.

Fel users would disagree.

Why even go to the trouble of writing this post? Nu-Blizzard would never explicitly villain bat a character from their chosen pet faction in the story regardless of how much they deserve it or not.

Not that it matters too much because she’s already irredeemable trash to the red team.

Isn’t Tyrande pretty much doomed to become a coming raid boss this expansion?

That would be the Horde. That’s why Tyrande and Alleria are both written doing bad things in the book.

That’s why Horde got Fox people and Alliance got Diaper gnomes.

And that’s why Horde to this day has a bigger population.

Alliance gets diaper gnomes because Alliance keeps asking for copies of already existing races.

The Horde mostly demands a new and unique race.

If you are talking about High elves that’s one race. ONE that we asked for.

Which other “copy” did Alliance ask for?

Curvy humans? Light Draenei (as if Draenei are not light enough).

The only “good” Allied Races we got Are Dark iron and Velves. The rest are… meh at best.

Bad things that they are immediately absolved of by all parties involved. Nothing bad ever sticks to their chosen pet faction because Blizzard is incapable or unwilling to not write in mountains of justifications for all the shady things their pet characters do in this game.

And let’s not conflate gameplay with the story because I can guarantee you that most Horde players couldn’t give two you know whats about the latter.

Exactly, and that has been a rather consistent request over many years. No wonder blizzard gets the idea that Alliance only wants copies.

And I’m glad we got them in the end. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Only took them 16 years but… it’s better than nothing.

'tis a shame similar energy can not be put into getting something that might actually attract some horde playerbase to the Alliance.

And a shame that people wouldn’t rather stick to voiding up the Void Elves instead the developers are asked to void down the Void Elves. The Void is literally the one thing that makes them interesting, and people want to remove that.

:man_facepalming:

As said, no wonder Alliance gets nothing but boring copies, they want nothing but boring copies.

Then Suggest Voidy stuff you would like to see for the race.

Don’t come at us for wanting to be natural.

It’s all a choice of preference.

The next customization that’s going to be added will probably have a mix of both natural and Voidy. I have a feeling

I should.
The Blood Elves exist afterall.

Ah so you showed your true colors .

Well doesn’t matter. We are getting blonde hair as blizzard have been supportive of the High elf request so far.

we WONT stop asking for it. This is a new year and new possibilities
