I’ve seen multiple mages running around with two Carrots on a Stick. How is this possible?
I know about the Thrash Blade double exploit, but this doesn’t seem to work the same way.
Report them for cheating.
Is it really cheats, though? People use double thrash blade and that’s not reportable AFAIK.
If it really isn’t intended, then I’ll report them if more people back up that claim.
The thrash blade is not unique, the carrot on a stick is so if someone has two, then that is a proper exploit.

Of course it is, all you need to do is look at the description.
It didn’t used to be unique. Which is how they got it like the blade.
I thought the dual Thrash Blade was from a vendor purchase. Can anyone enlighten me? I recently returned to Classic on a level 25 or something rogue, so I wanna know if it’s frowned upon, I assumed it was just people buying it from the vendor after completing the quest?
Has this been moved? It was in TBCC I’m sure. If the OP was talking about Classic Era or SoM then yes everything they said in the thread was right.
Since it was in the TBCC section I thought they were talking about the TBC version of the trinket.
Dottie you can literally buy the carrot from a vendor same as you can buy thrash blade.
This isn’t a bug (or abuse).
I know but in TBCC they are unique but in Era they are not and as I said, this post has been moved from the TBCC forums to the Era forums. Anyway does the effect actually stack?
Which vendor? I can’t find anything from the NPC that gave me the carrot.

You first have to vendor your carrot and one of the gnomes will become the vendor.
It’s not a exploit.
Literally every rogue/warrior and streamer walks with 2x Trash blade. If you did ban all these people for exploiting the game is basically dead.
Carrot on a stick is exactly the same thing and Rune(Horde quest only) U sell it to the vendor buy a new one from the quest giver and buy the carrot back just like you do with Trash blade.
Currently almost every one uses 2x Carrot on a Stick and 2x Rune(horde).
If it was such a huge issue Blizzard would have fixed it ASAP.
The solution is to make every item that is re purchable from a quest giver unique and problem solved 
It really is though, it was not intended, if it was the quest giver would just give you 2.
Obviously a clear abuse of game mechanics.
Blizzard must delete all “extra” items of that sort and issue 24h ban for the offending accounts.

Stocks aren’t doing well, Blizzard doesnt want to lose more customers.
I mean it’s their own fault and they slack to not fix it.
They should have fixed something like this in less than 5 hours.
People are streaming and doing it since day 3.

Yes its an exploit, bc you clearly are abusing the game as it was intended. You can do a quest only once (except from cata on when quests till then were reset), so can get the item only once. Finding a way around that is the definition of an exploit.
Im not saying people should be banned, but this should definately be undone.
Ban the People that are paying for a bugged game.
Its fixed.
