The other guy provd that they nerfed it by waaaay too much compared to the original prepatch. So a 2x increase is 100% a good thing, but still a good deal less then was back then.
17k healer mh and they increased it to 19kâŠ
- Playing Horde is a choice. Alliance players donât have this issue
- You can still play, have fun and get gear it just take more time than day 1 because it was way too much
- I have seen more AFK premade during day 1 because honor wasnât an issue but the marks were. With the actual system AFK premade arenât worth it and i have seen 1 yet.
We arenât experiencing a 2.0 pre-patch but a 2.4.3 pre-patch.
The nerf was a real fix no matter 2.0 or 2.4.3 we werenât supposed to win 2-4k per BG. Only HK werenât accurate.
Well, iâm not gonna waste my time anymore liky you complaining that âyou wonât have time to get full R14/x4 isnât enoughtâ meanwhile you a here wasting it.
Iâm actually gonna enjoy and play the game.
What i noticed was that every kill gives just 1 honor, no matter the previous rank of the opponent.
I remember that i definetly got different amounts of honor, depending on the rank of the opponent, back in MoP, that could have been new thing with the RBG system though.
Thatâs exactly the thing. The whole community was enjoying PVP for once. Everybody was jumping into skirmishes and trying to actually PVP instead of afking every BG and then they come and ruin it for everyone because of some salty 40yo kid who lives in his momâs basement and gets upset when others have a good time.
Why would you go and change something that clearly everyone was enjoying Blizzard??? You had 99.999999% happy customers, even though prepatch came out late. You kept delaying it hour by hour and yet ppl came on realized how rewarding PVP is and everyone was happy except Sandy and that other guyâŠ
Yes and this alone should be a reason for letting it stay. Or even nerfing it in half but not by 90%. Tbc classic isnt tbc anymore because of many factors so who cares that ppl were having fun. So many ppl were olaying they game. Ques in horde were so short. 8min waiting for AV at 3am lol. But some loosers will still arguee that âyou have longers ques because you play hordeâ or that âit was like this hurr durrâ yeah? But ppl had much more time to play prepatch. Why some ppl are so salty that 99% of community was having fun.
Thats the main point FUN. âbut you can still have fun mimimiâ - if i and many others dont feel like having fun it means we cant.
Edit1: I hope blizz will finally react to this and increase it even more after reading all posts about it same as they reacted this morning on yesterdays posts. We need to keep pushing.
Exactly, wintrading. And they are getting away with itâŠ
I was in few AB today and on first one I noticed we capped all flags without even killing anyone, it was super fast win but there was no fun in it. It was just pathetic, I didnt feel good about winning at all. 25mins of waiting just to finish AB in 5min or less.
What are surprise
Everyone was enjoying it (me included) but MMORPGs are designed (especially the classic ones) are designed to take time for a reason.
It shouldnât give you 10x more currency for no reason.
Exactly! I had brought a bunch of friends back to playing WoW. Some of them never played Vanilla. With decent honor rates you can do some PVP and then have some fun in the dungeons. Youâre not forced to sit in BGs for 20h a day for an item that will be replaced in 2 weeks. What is wrong with that? Exactly, nothing. There is no way you can be salty about it and yet people are?!? What is your problem guys??? Donât you get that itâs in you own interest that ppl come to tbc with decent gear? The dungeon grind will be a lot smoother.
Double from zero is still zero. But sure, be deluded.
Heh, not to mention that this prepatch is only 2 weeks, the original was⊠5-6? So on top of the honor being less, people get less time. I donât even need any pvp gear and I still find it stupid af.
Try +400% at least and get my attention.
You canât nerf something by 90%, then come the day after and shout âhurray, we double you honorâ xD
Yes and thatâs exactly what Classic was for! Nobody could get R14 in three days.
But now we have 13days prepatch. Pre-Nerf PVP was a brilliant opportunity for new and rejoinging players to catch up and MOVE ON TO TBC. And donât tell me that was not the original spirit of the game or why else arenât iron grenades not working on 70s? They made PVP gear accessible for a reason in prepatch back then. My guildie hat R12 by the end of Vanilla and he got R13 gear + R14 weapons within the first week of prepatch. He played several hours every day for sure but he also found the time to raid Naxx and practice Arena whilst doing it. This nerf is just beyond anything. Furthermore and this is the most important aspect for me the HK factor. TBC PVP was designed to rewards actual PVP over PVE rush AV and afking. Youâd gain the most honor by killing other players in BG. That has been removed by the âfixâ. And now weâre back to ppl camping bases in AB sitting and waiting to lose. It instantly killed the fun PVP vibe that was going through the whole community.
I have screenshots from an AB where a 10 player premade started complaining because I wanted to play, cap bases and farm honor. Appearently I was the troll.
Hopefully they will sanction those players when reported, which I will do.
Good job for what exactly? Throwing the player base a bone? This is not a fix at all, and itâs not near enough what it should be, all of you saying thanks do you even understand math? Do you even read? Itâs better than nothing but it actually is VERY close to nothing. We need 50% and above.
There were so many BGâs before this, Horde queue for AV was 9 minutes for me, now 25 on a Friday afternoon. ABâs were like 4 minutes, now 20. The servers were crapping out due to the strain. But you had to kill the fun. Double nothing is still nothing.
Haha I was planing on using this name but now i see someone else got it first respect o7
Please make it more that x2. Or atleast fix the HK amount. 7 honor for a kill is nothing when a gearpiece is 8k +. and i have 1,5 weeks to grind it.
Did you even play prepatch back then? Honor rate was MUCH higher. And this isnât phase 1 of classic wow. The whole bug grind gearing up before patch was advertised as being a way to help boosted characters and alts/people who want some cool gear before tbc.
Nowhere did they mention you have to play like a R14 player 24/7 over 100 hours and that is considering you win every single BG. Non sense.
Maybe the idea isnât for every single boosted character to get full pvp gear. I agree that the honor is low, but 2x + bg weekend will make it fine. You absolutely shouldnât expect to get full pvp set for free, work for it or just get questing greens.
